1) They changed GX from 10 years after YGO to 100 years. Great, now explain to me, 4Kids, how.Spoiler:
2) Pokemon Chronicles has 22 episodes, and it sounds as though it's Pokemon Housou from the description.
3) 4Kids is not sure that the two will hit Kids' WB! even though YGO and Pokemon Advanced air on there.
4) I was about to put something here, let me think... oh, yeah, it sounds like they hit airwaves in Fall 2005. In time for Fox Box's final year under contract. Also - YGO will still be running on Kids' WB! at that point. Should they be running GX so soon?
5) I'd like to make my displeasure towards the naming of Hosou as "Pokemon Chronicles", as my fanfic is called "Pocket Chronicles" and I don't want to make it look like I'm ripping off 4Kids
And 6) If they're dubbing Hosou, then that means... how the HFI L are they going to explain Takashi's mom magically coming back to life? I came back with the Dragon Balls? Unexplained plothole? Meh.

Yea, it sounds like we're only getting the half-hour "Weekly Broadcasting Station" specials. No Crystal just yet. Oh well. :/
Still, I'm happy they're finally bringing it over so I can actually see them!

Well, the Crystal special may be part of the package. There's only 16 Hoso specials and the conference call announced 22 episodes.Originally Posted by Duke
If they broke up the Raikou special into three parts, that would bring the total up to 19.
Then there are the undubbed Pikachu no Fuyuyasumi/We Pichu Brothers OVAs.
Between now and Fall 2005, I reckon there will be at least another three special episodes in Japan, so there *should* be enough episodes by the time this Fall rolls around.

I also wonder if this means we might even get all those other Pikachu's Winter Vacation Specials (IIRC, there's about half-a-dozen, right? We only got two [And I own both!])

Yeah, there are only 18 specials (Hosos and otherwise) that haven't aired over here, but if you divide the Pichu and Azurill ones in half, and split the Raikou one in three, then you get 22.
Though it hasn't been confirmed that "Pokémon Chronicles" is the dub name for the Hosos. There are people on the SPP Forums speculating that it may be an American-made series, but I doubt it. Still, it seems likely that they're talking about the specials - they fit the series description given, fans have been asking for them for years, and they'd offer closure to some big questions (where half of Brock's Pokémon went, how Misty got a Gyarados, where Richie and Casey are now, why Jessie and James are in the Hoenn region even though Team Rocket isn't stationed there, etc.)
I'm the man with two DeviantArts.
So what's the storyline of Hosos supposed to be about?
"Name's Duo Maxwell, I may run and hide but I never tell a lie, except for that time I put itching powder in Father Maxwell's shorts, but we won't get into that."
They're sidestories. The first one is about Brock's return to Pewter Gym to find that it has changed, while another one is about Richie protecting Celebi from an evil dude, and yet another is about Ash's backups protecting Professor Oak's lab. One also has Misty taming the Gyarados seen in "The Togepi Mirage" and then battling against Sakura (aka the Eevee girl from Johto), and another has Gary talking with an Aerodactyl.Originally Posted by kaine23

How exactly could they change it from being 10 years to 100 years. Stupid as usual 4Kids.
It just rumor

Does the GX time change really matter? The show itself looks like 4Kids themselves made it. I seen first five episodes and I found it to annoying and ridiculous. "I'm gonna used my best monster to end this duel just like I did in the previous three duels I dueled!" I hope that GX actually flops and shows that YGO was popular for its story not for the cards, but who am I kidding? GX is Yu-Gi-Oh! GT and will get ratings greater than Yu-Gi-Oh!.

Considering that characters from the original series make cameos in this one, then yes it does.Originally Posted by Malex

Well, Yugi for episode one and the Paradox Brothers in an later episode. Yeah....I guess the Yugi scene is hard to go around, but they can say that the Paradox Bros. are reincarnated or something. 4Kids has a knack for tweaking stuff like that (even though 99.99% of the time they do it, it's unnecessary). Maybe it's my lack of enthusiasm for the show that makes me not care for its grim fate.Originally Posted by Duke
