The dub title sucks as this is the episode that features the Super Sonic vs. Perfect Chaos fight! Anyway this episode rocked in the Japanese version, but we'll see if 4Kids treated this episode well or screwed it up.

wow that was really epic and Chaos was actually a credible threat for the first time until Sonic took it down with one punch! I didnt expect it to betray Eggman and even beat him up a little that was a big surprise! gold Sonic was as cool as before but I think he is a little to powerful either that or this show needs better fight scene directors at least it ended cutely with all of those Chao and that preview for next episode was really intriguing!

Anyway, this was a decent adaption. Chaos was definitely cooler-looking than in Sonic Adventure. Though the battles are still pathetic. Super Sonic might actually be COOL in the series if he didn't defeat EVERY ENEMY IN ONE HIT. How lame. 3 out of 5.

Man, that was the final battle? That was pathetic.

This is the first Sonic X episode I have watched since first hearing this horrible dub, and it was disappointing. I was expecting some really cool battle, and that was it. Sonic goes super saiya-jin, then boom, battle is over.

At least it was like the game's final battle, sort of.

The only reason battles in the games take several hits even for Super Sonic is because, well, that's the way things are in Sonic games of course. Truth be told, even Perfect Chaos in the game is easy to beat.

Be glad they don't have the Super Emeralds in the show to have Sonic go Hyper Sonic, or it would of been even easier for him, haha.

I'm not going to bother saying all my opinion on this epsiode because it'll take too long (anyone who reads my reviews in another forum will know), but I liked it. Bad things here and there, but the good outweigh them all. 9/10.

Yeah, at first I thought the Eggman was one of those fake Eggman melting/Metal Sonic robot things from Sonic Heroes. Guess not o.o;Though it was pretty funny when Tails poked him with a stick.

Really? O_o Darn, I was hoping to hear his voice in the preview or at least see him next week, but now we have to wait an episode.

Super Sonic is supposed to beat everyone easily. Super Sonic isn't a stronger Sonic. He's basically the all-powerful being. He has no limits what so ever and is completely invincible. Super Sonic can do anything. Now Sonic X isn't canon with the games however in the video games according to plot Super Sonic is completely invincible and has absolutely unlimited mystic power. During game play in the classic 2D games you could fall, drown, or be crushed. In the 3D games you could just be knocked back. In the new 2D games during gameplay you can be frozen. Those things are there so the game isn't too easy and have no relation to the actual plot or story. This is why Super Sonic only appears when he has too. Also according to the plot Super Sonic doesn’t need rings. The reason Shadow couldn’t stay supercharged is because he couldn’t hold it long. Not due to rings. Just thought that I'd explain that to everyone.

However Shadow has one major natural advantage over Sonic, and it's that Shadow, even in his normal stat, is immortal. So he can only be killed by something of great power, however, he can't be killed easily at all anyway.

Well for me, with the exception of another week ending, this was the best Sonic X episode EVER. Better than 26 to me because, well, the ending was flat. I really liked how Tikal and Chaos ended that scene with all the Chao with them[hearing the word Chao constantly was not annoying at all for really the first time]From the flashbacks to the past to Sonic having to go Super Heghehog/Saiyan/ what ever level was just grand, amd it was not for five seconds like "Countdown to Choas". Yup, the episode title did no justice to how privotal this episode was. 4kids needs to ask Dc Animation how to make good epsiode titles for thier shows[same for TMS, because there titles can be long like almost every Anime original show].

The animation was finally consistent this week, making this one of the year's best episodes in 2004, especially on the FoxBox. The preview for another high anticipated episode wwas handled well, because they weren't going to show you know who yet. And I still have a difficult time seeing how the quality of this Show dropping after Video Game Adaptions 1 Arc[27-39].

Chris has to advance the storyline by bungling possession of the seventh Chaos Emerald to the bad guy... again. And Tikal, well granted, you can't give much more life to her role anyway... though I would wish she would've put more fight into explaining her role and relationship to Chaos.

Meh... okay episode. 2.5 out of 4. Next week's better rock hard!
