Previously on Cyborg 009, more ancient mythology! Apparently the Inca's left behind a hidden palace of gold and left it guarded by an advanced robot "princess" and a giant guardian. Joe became attached to this princess possibly due to her singing. In the end the Cyborgs managed to destroy the guardian since it wouldn't recognize them as friends and sadly due to the battle, the princess lost her gateway to our world.

so far so cold! Professor Gilmore sure is falling behind latey even though he's been in most of the adventures of this season the old guy is reaching his limits so the group this time is 009 (of course), 006, and Professor Gilmore! not a bad pairing for an icy episode hehe giant robot snake thing wasn't so tough but now the glacier is melting!!

whats Go Nagai another anime but hows it related to this?

oh well that episode was hot for being set in such a cold place! the effects in this show keep getting better I really loved 009's slowmo shooting near the end! 006 seemed kind of weak though isn't he supposed to be able to melt anything with his breath? Black Ghost wants Gilmore specifically dead......I have a bad feeling about this

No, not naked women, but they did look like a coplue of the other creations out of the rather warped mind of mister Nagai.



FYI, Go Nagai is one of the earliest creators of anime featuring giant robots. While both Gundam and Macross went for a more realistic tone, Go Nagai's work was completely over the top. He pretty much set the standards for the "Giant Robot" genre. Think Megas XLR with alot of boobs, guns, blood an other such things that make life fun.

009 was amazing in this episode. He was quick on his feet keeping everyone around him safe. and when he used his acceleration on that giant snake, to send it's missile attack back at it, that was a cool action scene. And fighting those robots with 006 seemed pretty easy for them and was a pretty great scene also.

Luckily the flash of that sniper rifle caught the attention of 009 or who knows what would've happened to the Professor. He seems to be getting stronger and smarter with his abilities. ._.;;;

I can't believe Black Ghost has returned, and what will they try next.

This week's episode was great.

1. Hey, I thought I was watching another ep of .Hack because that boy Tadashi sounded like Tsukasa.

2. "We must run for our lives." (No exclamation point.)
Geez, the way the villager said that, it was unintentionally funny. Sounded like a casual statement, instead of an aggresive plea for life.

3. The village-bound tsunami froze that fast?! Yeah right! (Even if it's futuristic tech. Melting so fast was hard to believe enough.)

4. Y'know, I'm beginning to feel these constant Black Ghost assertions are merely dub insertions. Like how DiC's Sailor Moon used to blame everything to the "Negaforce."

On a random note, this was actually the first episode of Cyborg 009 that I ever saw. I saw it in Japan a few years ago.
