Have any of you ever watched the Johnny Chase cartoons on http://www.johnnychase.com/ ? It was a character made to promot Nokia's Sidekick thing... It's in an "anime" style of sorts... sometimes the animation is quite fluid, other times, it's pretty awful... and when I actually started getting into it, the ending made absolutely no sense and ruined everything.

I.G. didn't do EVA. Only FLCL. Gainix worked on both though.

Aaaah Tatsunoko, aaaah Robotech... I hated that they forced Johnny Chase to not say "buy me a drink" argh! It was much better that way. Ah well, it was mostly a nice little spot.
Don't look at this space.
It's their commercial; they can do whatever they want to sell their product, including avoiding controversial issues.
Unless you're also upset that they renamed the Chevy Nova in Spanish-speaking markets....
