Right, I think that stuff is best left for character entries. Some wiki articles frontload information and try to tell you everything, but then its a useful reference for those in the know and not simply a resource for a new reader. And it would be spoilers after a fashion, of course. I'd rather lay layers upon layers, so one can know as little or as much as one wants at their own discretion.
That's probably why the character list on the main article won't be exhaustive, or at least it won't be made that way by me...I can't possibly write who Dorothy is without spoiling later events. Best to make a "list of" entry and make that comprehensive.
I would suggest that it's not the medium, but the quality of perception and expression, that determines the significance of art. But what would a cartoonist know? -Bill Watterson
