Would Plympton shorts be good for AS?

    Like This Thread!
Since Plymton has done shorts or movies for adults, and he has done the 12 tiny Christmas tales for CN, which might mean they have a sort of good relationship. I think if CN wants to go for older demographics, then they should show his works or at least try. He has done some great shorts.

Sounds like an intresting idea. Of course Plympton would have to pitch them to CN and AS awhile before they decided to use it or not.

Plympton has an established relationship with MTV. That means it doesn't bode well for happening. Whether or not he still works with them is another question. I think it would work better if CN got Plympton and Hertzfeld to take the Animation Festival and adapt it to TV.

I made this topic a long time ago.

And yes I back up the idea of Mysteryinfoman on Plympton and other great independent animators comming to AS. Their work is for the same target audience AS is set on. Besides it would boost the ratings if they are going to go up against Spike TV showing Spike and Mike in the future.

I think it would be swell if they aired Plympton shorts. Especially "Your Face". "Your face...mmm-hmm..."

I don't think they would get high viewership unless they aired as bumpers inbetween shows. I myself like Plympton's work and all, but I wouldn't want to watch it for a half hour, let alone every week.

Plympton did the storyboards and directed them, but the flash animation wasn't done by him unlike his other work.
