Well, they did skip "Car Returns" after all

As the schedule indicated, Cartoon Network did indeed skip the episode "Char Returns" of Mobile Suit Gundam. I'm pretty pissed. That episode looked really good. Well, I guess a crappy way to end a crappy incomplete run of the series.

They skipped it because of a schedule glitch. They were going to air Char Returns this week, but it was to be preempted by Char's Counterattack. This episode would air next week. However, when they bumped Char's Counterattack, they moved all next week's episodes to this week. They apparently never bothered to fix the glitch, and so they accidentally skipped an episode.

Its no big deal, everything you could want from that episode's in the one aired tonight, so its not like you missed much, or anything really. Not that much happens frankly in that episode outside of introducing the Mad Angler Squadron/Miharu.

Uhhhhh...hmmmm...uhhhhh...I've been reading this paragraph over and over again, and I'm still not quite sure I understand what you're saying. Okay, so they were originally going to air Char Returns this week, but then they decided to air Char's Counterattack instead, and they were planning to just skip Char Returns. Then they changed there minds and moved Char's Counterattack to next week and moved next weeks episode to this week. Okay, but uhhhhhh...why didn't any of the other shows skip an episode? Wouldn't they have preempted Inu-yasha and Cowboy Bebop and Yu Yu Hakusho too? Why was Mobile Suit Gundam the only show affected?

Sigh. I wouldn't be surprised if instead of Char's, we got and Inu-Yasha marathon.

Hmm, shame. A Spy on Board was a good episode though. Too bad i'll have to find a DVD to see the next episode which looks really good.
