why does the commercial say no one under 17 when the shows are rated TV14?

TV Censores slipped that in, no doubt. Although CN like to be funny when it comes to commercials of upcoming events. Anyone remember the "This is it" incident when CN were running those promos for The Looney Tunes Show?

What incident is that? Or are you referring to the hopes that we'd have the real intro, as opposed to that......that.....abomination that currently opens the Looney Tunes Show?

All the promos used "This Is It" for background music, making it seem like that was the theme they would use.

Ah.....that. I'm still bitter, myself, actually, seeing as how I stumbled out of bed early and such in order to see the damn opening.

Just watched the 1st Brak Show. Good stuff.
    BTW, it's TV-PG.
    How do I know that?
IT"S ON THE SCREEN FOR THE WHOLE DAM' SHOW!!!

WHY do they keep doing this to us?

This era of pop culture is getting more fascist(hyperbole noted) all the time. The more they give us, the more they take(generally speaking. It's not all CN/WB etc.

    ---------------------------------------------------

2nd Brak in progress. Didn't I see this plotline in Calvin & Hobbes?

Since I’m off from school tomorrow, I stayed up and watched the Adult Swim program. Didn’t care much for it, but I just wanted to see what kinda stuff they would get away with.

It was very annoying and ridiculous that the TV PG notice on the top left-hand corner of the screen stayed up for the ENTIRE show. Guess they wanted to be extra safe that no kiddies would watch. Here’s an easier way – PUT THE SHOW ON LATER AT NIGHT! How about 1:00 AM - what kid’s going to be up at that time?

Great to see the Brak Show back, though!

This is probably not news, but the Harvey Birdman show is animated by the same peaple who do Robert Smigel's "TV Funhouse" cartoons for SNL. I thought it looked similar to TVFH (particularly the disco-dance quickie on the stand).

SeaLab seemed like it could've been written by Smigel(it wasn't, of course), even though it was a different animation outfit.

They got away with the most, that's for sure!

Didn't care for Home Movies, loved Brak (especially Zorak), Birdman I watched before (they did a test run of Adult Swim months ago with this and a different ep of Sealab) and didn't care for it, Sealab had its moments.
