I think that while there may be some pleasant surprises, AS will be servely hampered by the total LACK of a regularly sched. uncut cartoon block. Any oppinions?

While Adult Swim sounds good to me, I want uncut cartoons there for all of the obvious reasons. I know that an Uncut Cartoon block wouldn't fit in well with the other stuff, but I think that it wouldn't be as jarring a difference if you used an Uncut program as an opener or closer to the Adult Swim block. If there's anyplace where you could fit in such a block, that would be the place. The commercials themselves say "No one under 17" so I think that they would be able to do more offensive stuff. I know that Sealab is going to have some serious swearing, I've heard Cowboy Bebop is violent but we'll have to see how violent after editing, but I don't see how an Uncut block could be more offensive than anything rated 17+. They wouldn't even have to show the racial stereotypes, though I would prefer it if they did. They'd just have to show some stuff that is usually cut, suicide gags, excessive violence, etc. I think it would be pretty harmless to toss in some Indian cartoons too, Mammy, Speedy, and milder caricatures.

It's interesting to see people's(not to be confused with SEA PEOPLE's) opinions on Adult Swim before they got to see it, but... why did you feel the need to do that, you cruel monster?

As long as it follows with. Mobile Suit Gundam, Batman, Superman, or another Gundam show on some sorta "Rising Sun" It's OK. I like the addition of Lupin the III and survival of YYH. I don't think CB will be on long. But it'll probaly alternate the schedule like Outlaw Star on Toonami.

The AS weeknight lineup is perfect. The Sunday lineup's alright, but honestly, it's not the best. Then, don't get me started on the crap they call Toonami on Saturday nights...

If you get put in solitary, it ****ing sucks. I was put in there just because they had me in double-lock maximum security, and it's the most tedious ****ing thing. I can't think of anything more boring. There's a Japanimation cartoon I've been trying to watch on Cartoon Network called Witch Hunter Robin, and that's almost as boring.

Quite a gap in the time the thread was posted and the time people besides Joe Tully realized it existed.

    Holy crap.

Please only resurrect a thread if there's a really good reason to do it. It really bothers me to see people resurrect old threads at random, especially when they're just one-word replies.
