This week on Samurai 7...
Kambei and the others leave Firefly House to begin their war on the capital.

Last time on Samurai 7...

Katsushiro ran off after getting into an argument with Kambei about the rescue. Meanwhile, at the capital, Ukyo told the head Nobuseri that he wanted them to find the hidden rice that the farmers keep. The leader told Ukyo that they knew about it, but left it alone since the farmers needed to eat. Ukyo then told him that he was the boss and that the Nobuseri had to do what he said. Back at the Firefly House, Kyuzo returned and killed numerous guards sent from the Imperial Capital. He then told Kambei that they still had a match to finish. Inside the house, Ayamaro (who was following Kyuzo) told everyone that Ukyo planned to spark a revolution and wanted to control the world. The next day, Shichiroji, Heihachi, and Rikichi arrived. Rikichi told Sanae that he knew everything, but was still okay with it and wanted her to come home. He added that he'll build a grave for the late Emperor and for the infant, which made her break down and cry. Elsewhere, Katsushiro was seen sitting on a rock, eating rice balls. He remembered back to the night when Kambei hit him and Kikuchiyo on the head and called them fools. Katsushiro lashed out at Kambei and told him that he shouldn't have went alone. Eventually, the conversation went to the topic of "death." Katsushiro said that a samurai shouldn't be afraid of dying, but Kambei disagreed. Katsushiro responded by telling Kambei that was why he was always on the loosing side of the battle. Kirara then got up and smacked Katsushiro's face. Back in the present, Katsushiro finished the rice balls and set out.
