Naruto joins the ninja academy, and gets paired with Sakura Haruno and Sasuke Uchiha. Chaos ensues as Naruto has a crush on Sakura while she has a crush on Sasuke. Naruto's diabolical plans to make Sakura lose her crush on Sasuke go up in smoke as the spoiled milk Naruto drank that morning takes its horrific toll.

So I did a little research. Apparently, the Ancient Mayans also said we would get Naruto Shippuden around this time on Toonami. But we only have the original. We can't trust their calendar for anything.

Ya know, I happened to watch something fairly recently on Youtube that reminded me of Naruto's obsession with ramen.

Also, I don't think people EVER give enough credit for Dave Wittenberg's acting as Kakshi. He REALLy brings out the laidback, but strict and dry, witty, sarcastic perspective in that character, something I don't really get as much out of the Japanese seiyuu for the character to be quite honest. Of course the Japanese seiyuu is still fun to listen to. On a side note, this survival test in retrospect is really touching once you learn what inspired it.

I may have counted how many times Kagome said "sit" a while ago, but as tempting as it sounds, I won't count the number of "believe its" on this show. It's one episode a week, and besides, do you know how long this show is?

Well, well. Seems even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Ten out of ten for effort, but minus several billion for execution.

The real fun finally began! Nice start at a glimpse between the Naruto/Kakashi relationship of the series. For what it was worth, fun to hear Sasuke's and Sakura's thoughts on Naruto's near-success in shadow-cloning Kakashi.

It's called being patient and waiting for the right time to strike. Not that they had a chance against Kakashi, but still.

Is it wrong that I find it hilarious when Naruto's clones are fighting and arguing among themselves? Last episode with them fighting to get into the bathroom and here when they all think that Kakashi's hiding among them.

Kakashi took kind of a risk leaving the bell on the ground to bait Naruto.
If Naruto was using his head he could have sent some shadow clones to grab it. Even if the clone got caught in a trap he could have more clones free to grab the bell.
