When Modula unleashes a cute but deadly new alien upon the group, the trio decide to keep it as a pet.

Kimmy came over to study and became romantically infatuated with Newton after he helped her reach her full potential. Meanwhile, Lance and Ilana encountered a manta-like Mutraddi creature that absorbed electrical energy which caused their armor activators/communicators to shut down. After Octus neutralized the dampening effect on their communicators, the trio formed Titan and defeated the creature. The next day, Kimmy and Newton held hands while walking off to class together, implying that they were dating.

I never really cared much for this episode. While Tashy 497 is cute, I couldn't really believe that they all grew that close to it in just one episode. They spent more time setting up for Modula to find it and chasing it around the city. Plus, Lance getting attached to it didn't make sense when he was worried about how it could be dangerous when Illana wanted to keep it in her room. The whole scene where they took it to space to die was sad, but more because of how it reminded me of my own experience with losing my dogs rather than how it affects the character. I can believe that Illana could get attached that quickly due to being the more emotional of the three, but saying that it was the hardest thing they had to do when they had to leave their world in the middle of a war was just too jarring for me to believe. Lance struggling to hold back tears also felt really out of character. The music they played during the scene was nice and Titan with wings looked cool though.
