WARNING: Spoilers will not be tolerated! Yes, I realize this series has been around since 2002, and I realize it did air on the FUNi Colours TV anime block (It aired back in 2006, so this isn't a dub premiere), but this is its first exposure on [adult swim].

Synopsis: Seina Yamda is your average ordinary everyday teenager, if you take away one thing. Seina is the most unlucky boy known of in the entire universe. One day Seina is headed to Kinako's house. On the way he decides to cut through Tenchi's place, despite mysterious things happening every time he goes through. Sure enough his luck holds true and events lead Seina to start drowning. Seina is saved by the maiden Amane Kaunaq who asks him to enlist in the GP. After some persuasion from his family, Seina finds himself on a GP ship headed for a special training academy. The adventure known as Tenchi Muyo! GXP is barely beginning though. Today Seina learns who the GP's real enemies are, and a fearsome ally known as a Devil figures out a way to use Seina's luck to her advantage. This Invasion will surely leave you either groaning in pain or laughing your socks off.

Your cast of characters:
Seina Yamada: The main character who seems to have horrible luck. Seina has enlisted in the GP and hopes to use it to his advantage to gain the love of Kiriko.

Kiriko Masaki: A young lady that has always been friends with Seina, despite his horrible luck. Kiriko has always favored Seina and done things like make him cake. After she learns Seina is in space, she decides to talk with him on the phone, but she could very well be hiding something from Seina.

Amane Kaunaq: A mysterious lady that Seina runs into through a horrible series of events. She has asked Seina to join the GP and appears to continually break rules that the GP has set in place.

Mitoto Kuramitsu: Mitoto appears to be a friendly woman who has a passion for cleaning and who merely appears on the ship Seina has been picked up by. However Mitoto actually has high ties that could land everyone on the ship in great danger if the enemy should learn she is there.

Previously on Tenchi GXP: We meet Seina, our protagonist, who has a penchant for bad luck (hmm, I still think Hurley from Lost has him beat in terms of bad luck).

There's no white in some of the characters eyes. That's so old school, and not necessarily in a good way.
