C&C - Casshern Sins - "For the Strength to Believe" [9/8]

Mysterious robot deaths form the center of this episode, taking place directly after the confrontation with Dune. There are more major plot developments in this episode, expect a lot of Dio screentime here.

Dune, badly wounded after his fight with Dio, collapses in a crystallized landscape, right as Casshern and Lyuze are trying to traverse it. Nobody recognizes each other at first, and Lyuze realizes they have collectively wandered onto a robot graveyard, and Dune may be ready to join it. A random robot gang recognizing Casshern triggers Dune's memories, however, and Dune rushes Casshern, trying to kill him, despite Lyuze's pleas that the fighting means nothing anymore. Casshern soundly defeats Dune, and he and Lyuze take their leave, and Dune continues his despairing crawl across the crystallized land, trying to hold onto his fading memories . . .
