This week on Samurai 7...
The group has gotten the Magistrate’s attention and he orders them executed, farmers and samurai alike. As they battle a string of assassins, Kambei encounters a silent, skilled samurai he is determined to recruit.

Kambei decided to help the Kanna trio. After the fight with Ukyo's men, the injured Katsushiro and a chastened Kikuchiyo came across Gorobei, a cocky street entertainer and a former samurai. He challenged Katsushiro to play his game of arrows, shooting at his forehead; he caught the arrow just as it nicked his skin. Later, Kambei asked Gorobei to join them and Gorebei agreed.
