C&C - Casshern Sins - "A Man Entrapped By The Past" [7/28]

Casshern's ratings finally had a week where they went UP as opposed to down on the 21st. Could Casshern finally be turning a corner, or . . . well, do people want to devour Casshern as much as the robots do?

Whatever the case, we won't know the answer this week. That's because . . . Casshern's kinda not in it.

Last time on Casshern Sins:

A warrior named Bolton leads a robot force to corner Casshern at a cliff, but the cliff gives way, massacring the force and wiping out three of Bolton's limbs in the process. Down in the valley, a young girl named Nico tends to both Casshern and Bolton's wounds. Lyuze, still stalking Casshern, realizes that Nico is one of Luna's former servants. Tragically, however, much of Nico's circuitry has rusted, making her mentally an eternal child, unable to contemplate her situation and fervently believing a mere puppet is Luna. Survivors of Bolton's force spring a surprise attack, and despite Casshern's, Lyuze's, and a crippled Bolton's efforts, Nico is killed by the robots . . . but Bolton also has information about Luna. Apparently, if Luna is revived, she might undo the Ruin . . . and so Casshern and company press on, searching if the rumors are true . . . as Bolton is left to meet his fate.

Casshern is the only robot who cannot ruin, so he will live forever while everyone he knows and loves turns to dust.
Why does everyone want to kill and/or eat him? That life alone is sufficient punishment.
