Okay, the last episode was no tearjerker, I was screwing with all of you. THIS one is the legitimate sad episode. Complete with an equally sad insert song.
Last time on Casshern Sins:
Stephanie Young seduces all of Toon Zone with her voice.
Um . . . er . . . I mean . . .
Casshern's travels bring him to a crumbling factory, with an incomplete tower at the top, and insane gambling robots at the bottom. After skirmishing with the gambling robots, he meets Lizbell, a former worker at the factory who now uses the factory's former workers to build her tower. She wants to place a giant bell at the top of the tower and ring it to remind all passersby that the world is still beautiful. She adores Casshern's perfect body, wishing to melt him down for the bell, but Casshern wants no part of it. In the end, Lizbell has to use what's left of her resources to create a bell that sounds horrific when struck, annoying the gambling robots and they attack her in a frenzy and destroy her tower. Casshern tries to comfort Lizbell by saying the bell was beautiful, but Lizbell doesn't believe him . . . when Ringo and Ohji arrive, Lizbell takes them to the top of what's left of the tower, and promptly creeps them out by mimicking the sound of a bell . . .
