D and Flash were the only upside to Tom 4's reign. My favorite would either be Tom 3 or Tom 2. My favorite era was the Tom 2 era in Toonami's prime. I personally like the first absolution a bit better than the second one to.

I was a youngling when Tom came to be. I slightly remember him and Moltar. Tom 1 was still cool, but was really short and had a little beer belly. He was also voiced by Sonny Straight, the guy that does Krillin from Dragon Ball unlike Tom 2-4.

I may have watched various shows on the block beforehand, but when I actually started watching the block as a whole, this is the opening I remember most:

TOM2 was cool, but I had no problem at all with his TOM3 upgrade. From what I've seen, I far prefer Blum to Sonny, so TOM1 might not have been my fave even if I had seen the block then. I think I started really watching DBZ towards the very end of Cell saga reruns into either Great Saiyaman/Otherworld Tourny episodes, or starting into a rerun of the show from episode 1. But I think the former. I know I watched like ReBoot and stuff back in the day tho.

Sadly I think I tuned into midnight run on saturdays accidentally at some point hoping to randomly stumble upon Space Gost: Coast to Coast and feel like I was turned off by a more serious part of a Ronin Wariors episode or something. Which was unfortunate.

I really did not care for TOM4, but at least D wasn't a terrible sidekick. But I rather missed Sara. I probably prefered Sara as a projection more than on a screen but both were cool.

For some reason I always remember this music the most from Toonami. It is so catchy and epic.

I liked TOM 2 the best, I think. Sleeker than TOM 1 but cuter than TOM 3. The perfect action cartoon block host. TOM 3 is easily second best, though.

"Thomas the Tank Engine" TOM was okay. Still had the classic wit and attitude we'd all come to know and love, but without the helmet...his coolness factor just plummeted.

    Zack and Zeke

It's kind of like ET, if you take out all of the emotion and turn it into a silly webcomic that's updated on Tuesdays and Thursdays

That bumper is TEN years old? Where does the time go? I guess that must have been pretty early on in my Toonami watching. I still remembered the pieces of dialogue they used for that one very well for some reason.
