Another new episode of Moribito: Guardian of the Spirit airs after the Bleach power hour at 1:30 a.m. EST. This one apparently involves a premature death.

Madam Torogai has extremely interesting adventures for an old lady. Being chased by fire spirits, getting swallowed by a worm to return to our world, eek. But in the process, Torogai discovers that the official history of Yogo is fake, and informs Tanda, Balsa, and Chagum on this. Meanwhile Shuga, the expert young Star Reader, is suddenly sealed off inside deep chambers housing the official history.

This apparently is another canon episode. I hope we enjoy this one.

Well, I just wanted to say that, umm... a stalactite cloud appeared in the sky just now, and it told me your brother is alive.

No, chances are he'll tell the king and the king will order his death again and Chagum and Balsa's cover will be blown and this whole thing will start all over.

Wow, Torogai was grinding like crazy at the start of the episode, I wonder if someone made a gif of that. Actually, come to think of it, what was the point of that? She was grinding one second, and doing something completely different afterwards. Maybe she grinded it out of existence... As for Shuga, man is he terrible at being stealthy; the moment he got a chance to get out, he went running out like a madman, with the script he was holding in plain sight. Then he casually buys a horse out in the open, despite the fact that it's an unusual thing to do.

Anyway, nice watch.

Unfortunately, that's something that's been there since they started airing the show on AS. I'm always concerned that something loud might happen during the show that might actually be loud...

May not have been any action in this episode, but I am digging the characterizations though. I can only imagine what will happen once word of Sagum's death gets out...

The past few weeks, yes.

This airing was fine because sometime during the week my receiver got switched to the SAP audio channel (Secondary Audio Programming, normally used for an alternate audio track like Spanish). So maybe Moribito has its audio tracks switched or something.

Anyone else find it amusing how Shuga can read Japanese in the dark just by moving his fingers across the text? This isn't braille you know.
