adult swim action block

anyone remember this old block that premiered in 2002 and sadly ended in 2003. It was when adult swim was just starting out. I really miss this block. It made saturday nights fun to watch because it was all anime. They should bring the block back and make saturdays only anime along with the old robot voice disclaimers.

Networks very seldom, if ever, revive old bumps and wraparounds, except for one-night-only or one-week-only nostalgia.

And given that anime hasn't been bringing in killer ratings for [adult swim] as of late, I doubt they're considering resurrecting an all-anime night.

We Still Techniaclly DO have an AS action Block, its just not all saturday night like it used to be & it starts latar with Diffrent shows, etc....But yea I miss my Trigun & my Uncut Yuyu & Tenchi. & of Course Lupin.

But yea Im fine with the action block there is right now, I would like to see them get some new shows eventually though. After Finishing Black Lagoon I think That would be a good fit, but then there would probably be to many edits. I do hope they Pick up Soul Eater Sometime Next Year though!:anime:

But BOT again: I also Miss case Closed, even though i have the DVDs i still miss seeing it on AS.

Yeah, they probably won't do an entire anime night in the forseeable future. I wonder if they are going to just keep this Saturday block going for the next few years, or if they would consider putting anime on for a few weekdays for maybe an hour or so again. I don't know what their next move is/should be. There's just not a whole lot of new content.
