    Should Adult Swim get noods?

    Like This Thread!
    In My opinon yes,

I would love to see a series of Noods of Home Movies, The Oblongs, The Pjs, & Shin Chan.

& hopefully if AS ever airs Super Duper Sumos (wich oringianlly aired on Nick) or The Lost episodes of Lupin the third, both shows realy need a nood series

In the current branding scheme, the Noods are part of what cleanly separates [adult swim] from Cartoon Network. Bringing them in would confuse the brand.

I would however support a more relaxed approach to nudity on [AS].

When you says 'noods' are you talking about cartoon porn?

Why would we ever need or want to see the Oblongs naked...or any Adult Swim show with naked characters...This is one big what the hell thread.

Super Dumo Sumos just confuses me.

No, no they don't. Why does AS need to borrow Cartoon Network's bumper ideas? They're perfectly fine the way they are now.

They're not going to use them. The noods are associated specifically with the family friendly programming on Cartoon Network.

There really isn't more I can say other than it's not going to happen, Tommypezmaster.

No, because [as]'s bumps are cheap, which is one of the reasons [as] is so successful. You realize the first [as] bump was made for $5, right?

Pickles is topless in the book the show is based on, so apparently Angus felt the need for anyone to see that.

    http://cartoonnetwork.wikia.com/wiki/Noods

Beginning on July 14, 2008, Noods were new to Cartoon Network. Many of them were Next Noods, Remix Character Noods, and Character Noods. Many people think that this is the third best bumper. On their website, they put the Nood background and a Nood shaking in circles around a rainbow circle. The Noods were based on Munny (created by Kidrobot) a DIY figure and Through September 1, 2009.

    No.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no and.. no.

The white text on black works just fine. It's funny and gives some interesting news bits as well.

Noods are stupid. I mean, what the hell are they supposed to be? Did someone at Cartoon Network just decide to make up some stupid looking thing and come up with some stupid name to call it or something? I mean, how would someone even know that those stupid things are called noods?

Blank templates that can adapt to any form, which is why the Cartoon Network logo is now also essentially colorless.

Well, actually, Kidrobot's Tristan Eaton created the Nood as a proprietary creation loosely based on their Munny that's outright own by Cartoon Network. The name is a copyrightable version of the word "nude" that also owned by Cartoon Network and also representative of what they are, nude templates.

I mean, how would someone even know that those stupid things are called noods?
Because Cartoon Network told the press. Geez, who pissed in your corn flakes? Such negativity.

I don't want to see them on Adult Swim, but I think it's time that Adult Swim move away from the black-and-white card format. Ideally, I'd like to see them adapt more animated bumpers ala MTV circa 1980s. Fred/Alan has a heap of those on their site.

And to the person who suggested Super Duper Sumos for Adult Swim, no. It's not an adult series. It's not even a GOOD series.
What does the X stand for? It's definitely not Extreme. Extreme starts with E.

Frankly, I think that Adult Swim's bumpers are already great. No way would they throw something in that associates with their daytime programming.
Thinking up ideas of a new show for Cartoon Network...

I think [as] should keep the black/white promos, because they usually give some news on when new seasons of shows will come out, ratings information, answer emails, announce contests, and show interesting [as] fan-creations. Besides, it's become a staple of the lineup. It wouldn't feel like [adult swim] without it. It'd be like the Nickelodeon logo without any orange.

But I definitely think they should add something different as well. I liked the lifeguard spots, and the first-aid kit spots they briefly had shortly after, showing [as] characters giving CPR and stuff. There's no reason they couldn't do something new, while also keeping the black/white font after the credits of shows and when [as] begins airing.

I'd like to see some creative bumpers starring Aqua Teen or even Bebop, if they got permision from Sunrise. (Maybe it could feature Spike pointing a gun at the viewer and bulletholes would appear onscreen, spelling [adult swim])

Some animated 'coming up next' bumpers would be cool too. They should all follow a theme though. Maybe bring back the 'swimming pool' theme from years back. It fits seeing as the lineup is called [adult swim]

I know people are going to say Williams Street doesn't have the money for that, but I disagree. Pretty much every college-kid and teenager who has cable watches [adult swim]. They air Family Guy, one of the most popular animated programs on television, they have an anime block for all the Otakus out there, they got Tim & Eric, Aqua Teen, loads of money from DVD sales, video games, posters, action figures, how can they not have lots of money to spend with all those successful properties and products?
