For a long I'd heard about The Bebop. Then along comes Adult Swim. I came in where Faye was intrduced, started recording...too late, let's just say. I did manage to get the last 3 episodes which I watch over and over. I began recording the second run of it. But in a "I've got no tapes for tonight" panik, I recorded over those previous 3 knowing "They'll be shown at the end of this run ^_^ "

All of them, I tell you! I got them all! Then tradgedy strikes. A friend comes down with cancer and passes on to the Great Gig in the Sky. Around that time the episodes Brain Scratch and Hard Luck Woman air. No worries, they'll repeat Thursday......Guess again, fool. The Flintstones!

And what's to come next | Real Folk Blues split into 2 Saturday showings. Brain Scratch and Hard Luck arent to be shown untill....well it'll be a while. And those will be the only episodes Ill have missed recording.

So my question is. Any kind soul out there been recording as well? Might I be able to get a copy of these episodes off someone?

Try not to ask about bootleg videotapes. They're not allowed here. I would say especially not to ask for tapes when you can go to the store and actually buy the episodes, therefore making this a bigger offence.

But hey, on a lighter note, welcome to the boards!

Terribly sorry! Didn't think this fell into the the "bootleg" catagory as I didnt say "The Bidding starts at 50 bucks"[no thats not infering I would pay that much either].
At the risk of being read as overly cocky [which I hope is not the case, though I tend to fall victim to it more often than not (=o\ , just call me Oscar], "a bigger offense": is that to imply I should not even be recording the series off the TV? Or at least not be advertising that I am? I don't plan on selling them [though Im sure that one's been head before] I only use the VCR for "educational purpose" right?

Honestly; after looking at the rules of the board, its one of the more strict boards I've signed up for as most other have been art/design related and the users had free rule and reign over them. The community as a whole would pretty much make any offensive poster feel unwelcome, but not ban them for subject matter, language or adverts. There were no Parental figures to complain to, and if you tried to the response was something along the lines of "It's the internet, what are you here for anyhow, to get smacked on the wrist for saying _ _ _ _?" All the same, I completely understand the need for such rules on a board such as this. Again, didnt mean to take the jam out of anyone's doughnut. ^_~

Incidentaly; I recently pissed off a friend of mine by complaining about her boyfriend's flagrant misuse of Neon Genesis characters on rave flyers. Not even retweaked like some of the tasteful Anime fan sites Im sure most of us have seen, just straight up cut and paste. "If you want to defend © of others, you'll be doing it the rest of your life, concentrate on protecting your own work!" I was told. I do indeed have the greatest repect for other artists, and the DVD set is on the horizon....in the meantime...yeah soooooo
I only bring this up to make it clear I, in no way, planned on using requested episodes for anything other than personal home viewing... and turning others on to the series ^_^

Well, even so, we can't be talking about this stuff here. TZ's gotten in big trouble for allowing this kind of talk here in the past.
