I'm not really sure, but I'd say Batman's got the upper hand. Spike, like Batman, knows the martial arts, and lots of them, but Batman has the gadgets and battle smarts to win in a battle between them.

And Batman has a batarang, with a special built-in device that ALWAYS knocks the gun out of the enemy's hand. It's because Batman's Y7, so he HAS to be able to get rid of the gun!

Its all spike. Actually it depends. New batman or old batman. In other words Terry or Bruce??? Bruce VS Spike would be close. Spike VS Terry Is no contest. Spike could whip terry no problem. Terry may have new fancy bat gadgets but hes an arrogent punk.

I'm pretty sure we're talking Bruce. If it was Terry, then Spike wins no problem.

Well ,we would just have to re-animate Spike, wouldn't we?

I have to go with spike. Although Batman does have all the gagets, a little blade shpaed like a bat couldn't do as much damage as a bullet from Spikes gun.

OR

Spike could just land the Swordfish on him. That would end the fight rather quickly.

Batman, no contest. Spike is good, but Batman has made a career out of dodging bullets and hand-to-hand combat. It'd be a darn good fight, but if there's no outside interference (Edward hacking the Batmobile or something) then Bats is the winner.

Right, well, hmmmmmm....

If we are allowed to include others into this, like allies, then here's how I would see it.

Spike beats up the Bat, then Robin comes in and starts beatin on Spike. Batman regains his strength and joins the teenage Bird. Then, Jet sees them all fighting and joins in, helping Spike. Batman takes one of those little bat blades and sticks it into Jet, but finds out the arm he just stabbed is wooden. Then, ummm, Alfred, the butler dude, come out with a tray and he's all like "Master Bruce, would you like some tea?" Then he takes the platter and knocks out Jet with it. But then Ein, mad because the old dude just knocked out his master, bites Alfred on the arm. He rips off a piece of the old guys flesh, revealing that he's a robot. Then Faye comes in with a lit cigarette and she's all like "Men are stupid, they are so stupid." Then she leaves. But that like, distracted Spike, which allows Batman to get in a few good punches. Robin is on the ground because Spike shot him in the foot. "Oowwww, my foot!" Then like the robot Alfred takes Ein and like throws him at Spike and Spike catches him. Then Spike swings Ein around, hitting Batman in the head and knocking over a pail of water. The water fries Alfred's circuts and he malfunctions. He then starts jumping on Robins chest. "Oooowwww, my chest!" Ok, then Edward comes out and she's all like "Oooo, fun game!!" Then she goes over to the passed out Jet and starts jumping on his chest like Alfred is doing to Robin. Then Faye comes back and is all like "Men are still stupid, yeah, they're all like pigs."Then she goes over to Spike, makes out with him, and then kicks Batman in the head, which knocks him out.

So Faye Valentine wins the fight between Batman and Spike Spiegel.

I shouldn't even be getting into this debate, but ... definitely Spike, because while Batman was wrangling with his wussy morals, Spike would just shoot him.

Yeah now that I think about it batman is soft. Spike would just shoot him with a Tranqilizer round and take off in the Batmobile.
