I'm getting mixed signals on this with the edits and all so what is the situation with what's gonna get edited?

Tenchi Muyo and Outlaw Star will also be in there hacked up Toonami form. Outlaw Star has to have the most edits of any televised anime in recent memory, has anyone seen Kyle Pope's edit list for the show?
    Its the final countdown.

Whats sad is that even that list has missing ones. From my calculations: (I too have done edit comparisons)

    Episode 1: 33 edits
    Episode 2: 39
    Episode 3: 22
    Episode 4: 23
    Episode 5: 17
    Episode 6: 34

Need I go on? Maybe even more edits than DBZ. Whats sad is that usually the edits are crazy ones like changing Poker to Go Fish.

As for the original question, expect everything but Cowboy Bebop to be edited to a 5 year old's level.
The Lone Gunmen. Harsh Realm. John Doe. Firefly. Boston Public. Wonderfalls. And now MadTV. FOX must DIE!!!!!!

I dont know what the hell Williams Street was thinking when they acquired Outlaw Star. "Lets cut down a 16+ rated anime to a 7 year olds level" I guess if you are not aware of the original version then you can kinda tolerate the Toonami version, but not me, its ridiculous.

The Toonami version led many to buy the DVDs to see what they were 'missing'. I number myself among those. Good value for a great show.

From what I heard about how edited it would be, I never watched it on Cartoon Network. I bought the first DVD, liked the series, and eventually bought the rest of the series before I watched any of it on CN.

When I saw it on CN, it wasn't that bad altogether, but still not good at all as far as editing.

Yeah, I was one of the ones who bought it unedited after seeing it on CN too. It blew my mind at how chopped up it was

Atleast they do a good job at not making it too noticible (some, like the poker thing certainly are @_@)

    Harde Har Har

The funny thing about it is this. Don't ask me why I know this, it's just one of those things you pick up. If you take a naked woman, and put her on TV, then she must be blurred appropriately. If you take a naked woman, put her on TV, then PAINT her in the appropriate spots, then nothing gets blurred out. I laugh every time I see the Tenchi "bathing suits" because they really do nothing but highlight the anatomy.
