It was...ok, a B- rating. Again, the episode is predictable once a plot is established, but it was rather funny in all. The doctor is hilarious, but the thermometer jokes were on the same level as Sealab's infamous Chubby Cox jokes. The chunnel? Come on. Either way...Ok, but not great.

This episode was better than the last two I saw. This whole Child Proof thing has been doen already in a Simpsons episode, so why do it again?? Anyway, the stuff with the neighbors and the hoverboat was cool. The doctor was good. But, once again, the story got predictable and boring (but not as much as the two prior episodes).

If this show was based on the neighbors, this would be a hit. Of course, this used to be a WB show, so of course it isn't. Overall grade: Between a very high C+ and a very low B-.

    Eh

This is the first episode of Baby Blues I sat down and watched, and I didn't really like it. It was predictable, the humor fell flat, the characters were boring... just real mediocre overall.

watching this show makes me want to murder those around me.

it was intended for suburban yuppie retards

i cant believe we lost a half hour of home movies for this filthy bucket of slurry.

...and we do have a right to complain about it. if no one complains about unamusing programs, and those of us who hate it just turn to some other piece of garbage, then we end up losing decent shows to reruns of friends. i want to see certain things on tv, and im tired of programming being chosen to please the masses. the masses are retards who need art fed to them with the "you've been trained to like this" spoon. those who enjoy sealab are not the people who own neilson boxes, and our opinions must be heard through other means.

...and they should bring back squigglevison on home movies.

    News flash.

The 'masses', however stupid you may find them, provide the ratings that advertisers support. Without the masses, advertisers won't sponsor Adult Swim.

Without the masses, Adult Swim wouldn't exist.

RATINGS AND MONEY ARE EVERYTHING. THAT'S WHY TELEVISION WAS INVENTED. AND THAT'S WHAT KEEPS COMPANIES FROM GOING BANKRUPT.

There will never BE a network for the minority, because it would be idiotic to pull such suicide. So you'd better get used to it, because that will never change.

you missed my point in your attempt to start an argument.
my point was, if you think something sucks, you must scream about how much it sucks or your view will not be represented.

Intelligently stating your opinion tends to get it listened to more often than shouting it at the top of your online lungs. One well written/spoken dissent holds more value than a dozen ill-composed tirades.

    "Wanda-Proof"

I never realized rectal thermometers were so dangerous.
Carl's line to Shelby about putting his hands into the hoverblade's motor to unstop it recalls Homer Simpson's line to Bart about a jammed lawnmower--"You've got small hands--oops, never mind [as the blade frees and slices whatever clogged it]."
Maybe the padded walls were a bit overkill. "Is that what you call them? I call them throat plugs." The safety guy was sort of Joe Friday without the charm.
Fav line: after Rodney complains about the locks on the toilet, Wanda asks him if he needs to go, "Nah. I'm good. Might wanna scrub out the tub, though."

I thought the episode was pretty funny. The docter was funny with all his un-funny jokes. Also, the guy checking the hosue for danger, even though something similar was in The Simpsons It was still funny. Hmm... I wonder what it would be like if I had padded walls...

Did you notice that the kids sound like characters from Rugrats?

Hopefully some of those shows the minority likes will make it to DVD as a cult release.

I have to say I enjoyed this episode of Baby Blues more than the past couple. It's more like a standard sit com than a edgy show for Adult Swim, but I don't mind, I like the addition to it on Adult Swim. However, I wouldn't lose sleep if they put on Mission Hill in it's place!

It took me a while, but here goes.

I loved the scenes with the doctor; they were a lot like this game on "Whose Line...?", "Old Job, New Job". If you've not seen the show, the game is like this: one of the performers plays in a certain occupation, but bits of their old occupation come seeping in. It wasn't terribly hard to figure out what was up with the doc (I couldn't believe that Steven Weber did his voice).

The scene with the hovercraft was also hilarious. "Should I wear a helmet?" "A helmet adds extra weight. Think beofre you speak!"

Overall, this ep is worth an A.

BTW, this is my 500th post. Yay for me!
I feel that a big problem with today's society is that we don't listen to our fellow man -- especially when I'm talking.

Little wonder. Kath Soucie voices RR's Phil and Lil, as well as both Carl's kids..and E.G. Daily does Tommy Pickles' and Zoe's coos.
I'll admit the MacPhearsons are a little on the bland side...Carl's a fun guy...but the lecherous single buddy's a character that's been trotted out a bit too often, for my money.
