    SAVE, SAVE, SAVE Invader Zim!

    I cant believe Nickolodeon is cancelling Invader Zim. When did networks have such an revolving door policy with shows. Ratings are becoming the Almighty God, instead of cancelling why don't they find a new date and time for the show. No one is running shows at a prime time schedule that really need to be shown. The artwork is fenomenal, detailed, and fresh. The writting is hysterical. I've never laughed my head off so much watching a cartoon. If you look closely even the smallest details are added.
    You know when you've had a bad day and a 1/2 hour cartoon uplifts you you've got a winner. The creator Jhonen Vasques has been told to tone down the material. I say their afraid of writers who do not run out of new ideas. If you can't control them get rid of them. Lousy attitude. We the watchers are made to suffer. Adult Swim would benefit so much from gaining Invader Zim. We've got to start putting our foot down and making our voices heard. Every one thinks everyone else is emailing so why bother. Bad. Email away and have your voice heard the more you do the more things get done. If you want good quality programming fight for it. Don't let someone else do it for you. The soundbites are hilarious their being passed around like mp3's, the artwork is being posted on sites and merchandise, people are playing clips from the show at work, who's not getting this? Please Wake Up! Save The Show. Bring it to Cartoon Network.

    If you haven't signed the petition over on the AniGen board (a link to it is in the "Invader Zim is Cancelled" thread), I'd suggest doing it as soon as you can.

    I think Sponge bob is corny and the artwork is shabby. The writing please. The creator needs to go back to artschool. Details are missing. Many details. I've tired of watching stick figure cartoons.

    Spongebob was OK, but invader Zim is superior. The animation is crazy-sweet, It's dark, it's just plain....

    <Gandalf on>

    SWEET ASS!

    *Head dance*

    <Gandalf off>

    what more do you need? I love the show, so I'm not gonna analyze it frame by frame.

    Artwork.

    Do you have any idea how many artist /writters are trying to get their work shown? We are missing out on alot of new creations because of beurocrasy or who knows who in the network that can get my work in. In other words how much ass can i .... so that my work can be shown. If you allow the networks to take something like Invader Zim out all cartoons will look like Sponge Bob or worse. I noticed since Genndy Tartakovsky the creator of Samurai Jack left Dexters Laboratory's artwork is void of detail and the writting, Jesus what are they thinking. I was hooked on watching Dex and Genndy left, the effect is clearly in front of your face. Samurai Jack has introduced a new kind of artwork, and we need that for diversities sake. But you don't know how much detail is gone until it's gone. You miss it. Genddy should have let them continue the artwork or kept an eye on it to help. I do not put down the fact you like Sponge Bob. But I was directing my answer to the reply that was posted. I don't want Invader Zim to be the next casualty. I'll shout to get the message heard if necessary! By the way they need more expressions on the smilies.

    hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.........

    Actually I'm glad Nick is cancelling Zim. Obviously, Jhonen Vasques wants to do a show that is more mature than the audience Nick is marketed towards. Hopefully he finds another home for Zim or another project where he can express himself in a more mature-orientated manner. It would be better than what happened with Ren and Stimpy.

    If Nickolodeon wasn't in the market for a mature cartoon then they should have never contracted Jhonen Vasques. As for mature, the cartoon is not mature as in sexulally mature as you seem to be insinuating without actulally saying. And mature in the cartoon itself is the humor which is more understandable to the 20yr. olds and older. If Nick wants kiddie cartoon then they should keep the cartoons mindless enough for under 10yr. olds even then todays 10yr. olds are smarter than we give them credit for. But heres a question, why is it that the game shows Nick airs for these kids are parading around pre-teen girls in tons of makeup, and small outfits? What audience are they really trying to sell to.
