The Sealab that aired this past sunday (12-23-01) and thursday (12-27-01) was way out there! I couldnt really even follow what was going on. I think Quinn was having his life flash before his eyes? But why was he a fish?
Your thoughts and opinions on this episode??

I think the shows writers are on crack or something. That was really out there.

    I thought the same thing.

Anyway, it's probably my least favorite Sealab 2021 episode. But it was pretty funny in some moments.

I found it more tolerable the second time I watched it, but it still seemed like a waste of an episode to me.

I think that they just had a bunch of random ideas and decided to use the electrocution thing as an excuse to tie them together. I could see them watching Sealab 2020 and seeing Heche doing the thing with the hammer and deciding that the scene had to be in the show, and then just writing this random scene so that they could work it into the show.

I thought the one truly funny thing was when Stormy was preparing to show Quinn his hair dryer. He was saying something funny along the way. Other than that, though... well..

I thought it was pretty funny. Weird, but funny. I've seen Space Ghost eps. that come close in the weirdness factor, so it's not just Sealab. It was interesting how they kept coming up with even more ways for Stormy to zap Quinn!

    Examples include:
    • "Hey Quinn! Check out my new hair dryer!" ZZZZZZAAAAAAPPP
    • (After sticking the Paddles in the water) "Don't worry Quinn! I've seen this on TV a million times!" ZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPP
    • "Hey Quinn! Check out this *****in' hommade Tesla coil!" ZZZZZAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPP

Normally, this show is very smartly written, and that's why it's funny, but this episode was just dumb. Though I found it still humorous, I was laughing at the sheer stupidity of it all. Everyone has an off week I guess.
