    Evan Dorkin's The Eltingville Club

    Like This Thread!
Has anyone heard about this? Evan Dorkin, creator of Milk & Cheese and writer for Space Ghost: CTC, created a pilot cartoon for Cartoon Network called The Eltingville Club. This cartoon is based on a series of comics called "The Eltingville Comic Book, Science Fiction, Fantasy, Horror, and Role-Playing Club;" found in Dorkin's anthology Dork. According to Comics2Film.com, "it features the hate-filled exploits of a trio of pop-culture-addicted teens [it's four teens in the comics--I hope this is a typo] and their never-ending pursuit of action figures, comics and other collectables."

The pilot is finished and waiting to be aired by Cartoon Network.

I hope they air it soon--I'm a big fan of Evan's work and I'd love to see this become a regular Cartoon Network show.

This is on topic to Cartoon Network but with Toon Zone's new Adult Swim forum, this thread will be better suited there.
