As far as new episodes, from what I've heard, Paul Rugg had planned to cancel(?) the show after the third season anyway, but Kellner beat him to the punch, while in production of season 3.
I don't think he wants to get everyone back in to do it. I also don't think Spielburg will shell out the dough to make the cartoon(the references and parodies must've cost a fortune in royalty fees).
But I see no problem with AS syndication. Maybe it could air after The Popeye Show or something. Or when AS extends to 9 pm, maybe it can wedge in there. We'll have to see what they have planned for Thursday nights in the future.
