Evangelion is coming to Adult Swim. But you knew that already.

SwimBuddha just said it's on Adult Swim. Now we know where to discuss it.

I assume 1AM Monday - Wednesday when FMA returns to Saturday. I also expect it to be uncut or nearly uncut depending on if they can get TV-MA.

From a testing the waters for the movie stand point, I'd say they'd angle for a better timeslot and an assurance that it can run with an MA as close to uncut as possible so they know what they should keep for the film.

But I could be way off base with that, it just strikes as a good business move from that stand point.

Generally though, I expect them to flog this. It's been the dream of certain people at WS for years to get it, so even it means working over time, they'll find a way to flog it all over.

    Again, could be very wrong.

Will the VA's revise their roles for necessary edits then?

I actually saw this show. Weird, huh

Stickied for the guy that missed this (also thread title edited for clarity =P ).

Unfortunately, Evangelion has a lot of content that would be considered too dicey for Adult Swim. Though Adult Swim Comedy shows have been able to get through intact, some of the anime seems to be editted more, just because it's anime. The S&P for anime is pretty ruthless, and Turner's S&P department tries to make CN enforce it to the limit. Usually though when it's the anime distributor who edits the show, you can expect more content to slip by.

Evangelion however aired 2 episodes as part of Toonami's Giant Robot Week.

The rights to the series are owned by ADV Films, which is using it for its new Anime Network. For more information on The Anime Network, visit http://www.theanimenetwork.com .
    So long, question D.
It recently dawned on me that my signature could be interpreted as being said by me. For the record, this was not the case. If the previous signature reduced your opinion of me, please increase your opinion. Thank you.

As far as I can recall there's only one line in the series that would even require muting(given that implied sex seems fine, so the lines for that one scene shouldn't be a problem).

Either that or I'm losing my memory.

Yeah, which is why I said muting. They aren't going to drag anyone back into the studio for what little they're is to do.

So....doesn't this kind of increase the chances of adult swim picking up new episodes of Lupin?

I guess we should make a revision for question C also ("DBZ Uncut"), since it now airs in primetime on weekdays.

And maybe get rid of question G ("comedic anime on ASC"). Three words: Super Milk-chan.

And add more pilots to question O.

Why does AS need Ranma, when it has IY?
    Playing: DC Universe Online(PS3)
Watching: Fringe, Person of Interest, NCIS, NCIS: LA

At least 15 percent of the moviegoing audience experiences headache and eyestrain during 3-D movies. I'm one of them. And no, I don't need corrective eyewear.

Seems not. But shouldn't effect Eva at all since the word Jesus is never uttered. God likewise is mentioned only a couple of times.

Going from memory, when the show was aired here there was only one muting of a line.
