I will do my best to keep posting. But it's almost impossible to go back to dial-up. That's like reverting to whale oil lamps.

I would never go back to dial up either if I had cable, but I do hope you get something worked out. I think I speak for everybody when I say there's no way we can imagine the boards without you. How about DirectTV? They offer a broadband service, but I don't know if you have to subscribe to their TV service or not to get it, but it's worth a shot.
I'll try being nicer if you try being smarter.

Almost, but not quite. I had a DSL service that messed up my computer somehow, and I returned the package the next day. I went back to dial-up (le sigh), but maybe I'll try a high-speed service again some day. Anyhoo, i'm pretty new here, but I hope you can still keep posting here somehow.

Don't panic yet. Lawyers are claming that cable is a utility and federal law states you have to give subscribers 30 day notice. So its likely this will be delayed a month. (I hope)

Oh no. Well, this may very well be my goodbye as well. Until we can find another internet provider, you may not see me on here for awhile. I will miss all of you, and can't wait to come back once this is all straightened out!

Reporting news shouldn't be a problem.. my old 56k doesn't have a problem with forum-based pages...

High Score will be tougher to do, though.
