    C&C – Detective Conan/Case Closed – Week 6 [6/28 – 7/1]

    Like This Thread!
There are a lot of “stuck” threads this week. New Inuyasha, new Wolfs Rain, VOD premieres of s-CRY-ed, new Sealab 2021, The Adult Swim Schedule thread, and of course the “Anything/Else” thread.

    Lots of “stuck” threads.

    Lots.

Conan is new this week as well. Which means one more “stuck” thread. This thread. Sentence fragment.

Remember people, below the “stuck” “C&C” threads reside other, sillier threads. Visit them. They are the source of Matthew Williams power.

In conclusion, there are a lot of “stuck” threads this week.

But this thread is for Detective Conan slash Case Closed. ONLY.

    Consider it stuck.

Those fools violated one of the most important rules of exploring abandoned buildings. (don't get seperated)

Who wants to bet that he only wears this outfit when he needs the suspenders.

It would make sense that he killed his father and was driven insane. (Yay I am correct)

Also this was an extremely "Clue" murder.

    I give it a 8/10.

    Next episode looks good.

This was a good epsoide. It wasn't much of a case all that much. Liked the end, alot. Sure I didn't figure it out but in this case you knew nothing so it had to be one of the family members.

Try saying this with out getting a headache

    "I think I know, I don't think I know. I don't think I think I know. I don't think I think..."

A pretty good episode, but not as good as any of the other JDS episodes.

    I'll give it a B+

This was actually pretty fun. It reminds me of a more mature version of Ghostwriter (I miss that show). I liked the ending, with Rachel chewing out Conan and then exploring Jimmy's house next. I wanna know how he DID talk his way out of it!

Is it just me or does Amy's head look too big for the rest of her body?

"The Disappearing Act" wasn't much of a case, per se, but it was a mystery. To be honest, though, these kids are adventurous to get into one hair-raising situation after another. Or maybe it's just peer pressure, as based on Amy and George's nagging to get Mitch and Conan to accompany them.

So, a mysterious house that's supposedly abandoned... that has a deep, dark secret. Talk about hiding your guilt from the world. Who would've thought the murder case involved an internal family member?

It seems suspects aren't willing to go quietly into the night anymore. This is the third time in five episodes that the guilty party has attempted to knock off Conan before he could report his findings to the police. Sometimes Conan's too smart for his own good, but we knew this was coming.

Next episode... if following the pattern, we should see Richard and Rachel helping out. A murder on a shrine/movie set. This should be much more interesting.

As for tonight's case, definitely the worst of the series to date, but only because of the lack of a real case. But the tension at the end helped. 2 out of 4.

Another sad, but creepy, case was solved by the JDL, without the mentioning of "Meddling Kids" anywhere in the episode.

Amy's voice was really high-pitched in this one though.

wow, and to think she would've gotten away with it if it weren't for those meddling kids (sorry, it's the whole haunted house/fake ghost angle)

An ok episode. I'm kinda getting sick of the Jr. Detective League. This wasn't one of their better mysteries. It kinda draged on in the second half, but the ending was priceless.

Am I the only who, when the guy said he failed his college entrance exams 3 times, instantly said/though "The killer is you...Keitaro Urashima!"

I don't get it. Conan could've rushed over and kicked the bucket at the old lady before she'd even grab him and attempt to stab Conan. I mean, she was about to kill a little kid! She's psycho! If her son didn't have any sanity to tell her to stop, Conan should be in the hospital. What happened to "super-kick" he always does during dangerous missions?

Too bad she didn't kill George. Wow, Conan actually didn't use his shoes in this episode...too bad, I actually like when he uses the shoes...

    Conan should've used the bucket.

Oh yeah...I forgot about the suspenders. Neat, but it would have been cooler if the prof made him some kind of exo-armor instead.

Looks like Tienshin got stuck with all the work this weekend..

On CC, this was a good episode, I figured out pretty quickly that the woman and guy were from that picture, and something happened to that other guy, but I missed some of the beginning so I'll watch the encore.

i thought it was cute that they were talking about Jimmy's house at the end of the episode as haunted.. :anime:

This was a nice episode. I liked the creepiness factor of it all once the entire case was unraveled. A thing I found neat was the American name for the trapped son. It seemed so... fitting.

Zoinks!!...wait, no....Even though most of the clues in this episode were pretty straight forward, it was still a fun episode to watch. The mother locking her child in the cellar and behind bars that whole time was a pretty bizarre thing to do . I also thought Conan was gonna use his sneakers this time. I guess we saw him do it so many times, it was to be the expected thing to happen whenever he's near a small, kickable object.

    I give The Disappearing Act a B.
Something should go here, like this. Yeah, that's good enough.

Y'know, when I first saw the preview last week, I thought the old woman was the tall "guy in black." I mean, they both have long, faded hair and big noses.
