Who else Hates Aqua teen Hunger Force?

    Like This Thread!
Personally, I think it sucks. It is the most stupid show on adult swim. It may have its moments of humor, but it still just doesn't compare to the other shows.

This is very similar to the suggestion put forward by the Quirmian philosopher Ventre, who said, "Possibly the gods exist, and possibly they do not. So why not believe in them in any case? If it's all true you'll go to a lovely place when you die, and if it isn't then you've lost nothing, right?" When he died he woke up in a circle of gods holding nasty-looking sticks and one of them said, "We're going to show you what we think of Mr Clever Dick in these parts..."

The designs are a big part of it. They don't make sense: They don't do anything with them.

The scripts don't salvage it, either. Last week's ep (with the Moon creatures coming down) had a nice satirical edge which reminded me of "South Park" (on an off day, I'll admit), and this week's (with the Rainbow machine) was surreal in a "Freakazoid" kind of way. But it doesn't go far enough in any direction, and winds up just being stupid.

The first one wasn't so hot, but you might not have given the last three a chance. Shake is just too funny.

    HATE IT!

I try to watch it from time to time but have to turn away. It's just too painful. I want more Harvey Birdman! That's the only other series I am as excited about as the Brak Show, but I have only seen two episodes of it. When are they going to give us new Harvey Birdman?

I'm also missing Harvey Birdman, especially since I've only seen one! So far that's my favorite of the ones I've seen, and so naturally that's one in short supply.

Bad enough we have to sit through an HOUR of Home Movies(Not a bad show...but an HOUR?!?!!), but then we have to sit through 15 minutes of pure crap, just to watch Sealab! & Sealab is one of my fav's!

15 minutes I have to stay up late..
15 minutes I could be sleeping...
15 minutes I could be watching something else, but I dont want to risk missing any Sealab...
15 minutes I hold a gun to my head...
15 minutes of my life I want bac...ah..who am I kidding? I'd just waist 'em anyway....

    NOOOOO!!!!

This is one of the few shows on Adult Swim that I like! Me and my friends'll joke about it at work. I think it's funny, but that could be because it doesn't take much for me to laugh... that whole elementary school sense of humor...

Ugh... I despise Aqua Teen Hunger Force! It's boring and I don't really find it all that funny... Harvey Birdman is so much funnier. That and the Brak Show! Brak and Zorak are da best!

I'm glad others think that Harvey Birdman should take the place of Aqua teen. Its just hilarious.

Cowboy Bebop and Harvey Birdman are the only shows I like on the line up. The one with Jonny Quest was a classic! Home Movies has about two laughs per show. They're already showing reruns of Space Ghost.

I have to admit the Maternal Clock episode of Sealab was pretty good, though.

Too bad they didn't get Robert Smigel to do a show!

Maybe Cartoon Network could hire some of the animators leaving MTV? I'd hate to see them out of work for long.

Adult Swim's budget is only 25 grand per show, so it'll take a while before you see any shows with actual animation, instead of limited.

Oh, and this made me chuckle.

It is the stupidest show on adult swim.
"Stupidest" isn't an adult word, little Billy. It isn't even a REAL word. You come off as an 11 year old to me. The correct usage is "most stupid".

Mmm. I have to swing to Flying Grayson's defense here. "Stupidest" is correct.

Stupid, at the very least, should be dealt in this fashion: Stupid, More Stupid, Most Stupid. Even then, it's more grammatically correct to say "dumber" and "dumbest" in place of more and most.

    Example:

Jimmy is more stupid than Jill.
    Jimmy is stupider than Jill.

    Which one looks correct?

    Actually--

--I'd have said "most insipid. "Stupid", however you conjugate (or is that just for verbs?) it, feels too weak to cover my dislike of ATHF. Birdman is great, and Sealab and Brak have their moments. But Shake is too greedy and vain for his own good, Meatwad is too stupid to live, and the actor doing Frylock sounds bored and wasted in such drivel. And where the devil do they get that name? Aqua? outside of their fat obnoxious neighbor's pool, they don't go into water or perform undersea missions...Teen? they don't appear to be any sort of adolescent I know...Hunger? they're food, so they aren't starving...and three is a pretty puny "Force".

Well, I can only appeal to the American Heritage Dictionary, which lists the comparative and superlative adjectives as: "stupider" and "stupidest." We may of course quarrel about style, but the correctness of the -er and -est formations does not seem to be in question.

Well I have never had completly correct grammar. and I live in Kentucky, no one uses correct grammar, even if they dont' realize it.

Thanks Maxie Zeus for defending my grammar.
