Yahoo! Posts First Five Minutes of "Elektra"

Yahoo! Movies has posted the first five minutes of Elektra, based on the Daredevil comic book character and starring Jennifer Garner, Goran Visnjic, and Terence Stamp. The clip is in both Windows Media and QuickTime formats. Elektra will hit theatres on January 14, 2005.

Sprint Launches New Toon Channels

Sprint will launch new independent mobile-TV content providers, the company said today. CellToons will feature one- to three-minute animated shorts from Vancouver Film School, Blur Studios and animators Bruno Bozzetto and Mike Wellins. Group Denounces "We Are Family" Video

The American Family Association is denouncing plans to distribute a new video to public schools, WorldNetDaily reports. The group charges that We Are Family (previous story), a video featuring cartoon characters promoting tolerance, is surreptitiously advancing a pro-homosexual agenda by linking to a document pledging tolerance for sexual orientation.

Star Entertainment Picks Up Rights to Color Chips Toons

Star Entertainment has acquired the distribution rights to Caper Town Cops and Ultimate Book of Spells and Scruff under a deal inked with Color Chips India Ltd, IndianTelevision.com reports. The deal will give Star the rights for two and a half years.
