"Planet Sketch" Sold to ABC Australia

Aardman Animations’ coproduction Planet Sketch has been sold by Decode to Australian pubcaster ABC, C21Media reports. Aimed at kids aged 7-11, the series was commissioned by CiTV and Teletoon Canada and debuted at this year’s Mipcom. It was also sold to Cartoon Network Latin America and M-Net in South Africa.

"Lola & Virginia" Comes to Disney Channel Italy

Icon Animation has signed a deal to bring its animated series Lola & Virginia to Disney Channel Italy, adding to the earlier acquisition of the series by Disney Channel Spain, AWN reports. The series, targeted at girls ages 8-12, has already presold to Nickelodeon Channel Latin America, Disney Channel Spain, RCTV Venezuela, and Animania USA.
