Viacom Updates Timing of Split Completion

Nickelodeon 'Spy Day Friday' Marathon Airs Friday

Nickelodeon will air a ‘Spy Day Friday’ marathon on Friday, October 21, from 11:30am – 2:00pm (ET/PT). The marathon will feature a never-before-seen episode of Nick Jr.’s comic/action series LazyTown, entitled “Secret Agent Zero,” where Robbie Rotten tricks the LazyTowners into believing that he has won the Mayoral race. Animated "Mobisodes" Coming to a Cell Phone Near You?

The New York Times covers the growing amount of programming aimed at cell phone and other mobile users (registration required). In addition to spinoffs for network shows 24 and The Simple Life, several upcoming “mobisode” programs will be animated, including Samurai Love God from Viacom. Several animated mobile programs are already available in Japan.

Hayao Miyazaki and Nick Park to Talk at Tokyo Film Festival

Anime News Service is reporting that Studio Ghibli’s Hayao Miyazaki and Aardman Animation’s Nick Park will be giving a joint talk at the Tokyo Film Festival at 2:30 PM on October 23rd. The talk came about due to “recent friendly work relations” between the two studios. (via Nausicaa.net)
