Superhero Hype! reports that actor Nicholas Cage has named his newborn baby son, Kal-el, after DC Comics hero Superman.

"The Simpsons: The Complete Seventh Season" Officially Announced

Fox has officially announced the seventh season of The Simpsons on DVD, confirming rumors that it would get a release before the 2005 holiday season. Though a list of commentaries and box art are not yet available, they will likely be revealed soon. TVShowsOnDVD has more.

'Family Guy' Premiere Party on G4

The Monday 10.03.05 episode of G4′s Attack of the Show will feature a segment on the premiere party for the new Family Guy DVD: Stewie Griffin: The Untold Story, with creator/voice actor Seth MacFarlane and guest celebrities. Hamilton Camp: 1934 - 2005

Writer Mark Evanier is noting the passing of actor Hamilton Camp from a heart attack at the age of 71. Camp played a time-traveling H.G. Wells in Lois & Clark and voiced numerous characters in animated movies and TV shows including Darkwing Duck, The Little Mermaid, and several Scooby-Doo programs.

Wall Street Research Firm Predicts Lower US Box Office for "Wallace & Gromit"

Financial research firm Banc of America Securities predicted that Wallace & Gromit: The Curse of the Were-Rabbit will have higher gross revenue from the international box office than in the U.S. The statement was made as reinforcement for their “buy” rating and $29 per share target price for DreamWorks Animation.
