E32013: Ouya Hassled By “The Man”

by on June 12, 2013

In theory, everybody is supposed to play nice at the Electronic Entertainment Expo [E3] in Los Angeles, but that memo apparently was not received by E3 operators and independent gaming console company, Ouya, which decided to sidestep the cacophony [and cost] of displaying their wares in the Convention Center and try the outdoor method [this being sunny LA and all].

This tactic did not sit well with E3 operators who first tried to park trucks in front of Ouya’s outdoor “booth” in an attempt to obscure their presence, then called the cops on Ouya after they legally rented space in front of the trucks. Both sides are now reported to be attempting to talk nice to each other but nobody has an adequate explanation for why the LAPD cannot afford automobiles or motorcycles.

The Electronic Entertainment Expo is held at the Convention Center in Los Angeles and continues on June 12-13, 2013.
