Dragon Ball Z Getting Digitally Remastered High-Definition Re-Release

FUNimation announced that Dragon Ball Z has been digitially remastered in high-definition video for a re-release starting in February 2007. All 291 episodes have been digitally transferred from the original film at 1080p, and then cleaned up to remove film grain, dust, scratches, and debris. The first 5-disc season set will cover season 1 (“The Vegeta Saga”), clocking in at over 900 minutes and with a suggested retail price of $49.98.
