Disney Sued Over “Toy Story 3” Evil Stuffed Bear

New Jersey-based Diece-Lisa Industries has filed a lawsuit against Disney Enterprises for trademark and patent infringement over the “Lots-O-Huggin’ Bear” character in Toy Story 3. Diece-Lisa holds a trademark and patents for their “Lots of Hugs” stuffed toy bears, and notes that DLI’s “hugging technology” was licensed by a Disney affiliate for Bear in the Big Blue House merchandise, which DLI uses as evidence that Disney was aware of the intellectual >Toy Story 3, Lots-O-Huggin Bear (a.k.a., “Lotso”) was the leader of the toys at a day care center, but whose plushy exterior masked a much darker side.
