Disney Adds Pair Of Channels Down Under

Australian television viewers will get more opportunities to watch Disney-affiliated cartoonery and content with the addition of two cable network channels – Disney XD and Movies Disney – to their cable lineup. The XD channel is geared toward boys ages 6-14 and will feature currently popular programming such as “Phineas and Ferb”, “Gravity Falls” and “Ultimate Spider-Man” while the Movies Disney will feature all Disney-produced movies – animated and live-action – launching with classic films such as “Mary Poppins”, “The Lion King” and “Cars”.

The two new channels are scheduled to debut on April 10, 2014.
