News Corp. Extends Deadline To Buy Fox

News Corporation is extending the deadline to buy the remainder of Fox Entertainment Group until February 22, The New York Times (free registration required) reports. Fox’s committee of independent directors says it needs more time to analyze the offer.

Prema Toy Co. has granted Namco Hometek exclusive interactive entertainment publishing rights to Gumby, the companies announced today.
