Ubisoft To Make Games Based on Sony CGI Features

Ubisoft will publish games based on Open Season and Surf’s Up under a deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, Reuters reports. The Open Season game is scheduled for a September 2006 release, and the Surf’s Up game will be released in the summer of 2007.

Japan To Open Graduate School in Animation

Japan’s Wao Corp. will establish the country’s first graduate school for animation studies, Big News Network reports. A two-year degree at the school will cost about $10,000 per year and will include courses covering the business side of animation.
