Jim Smith Artwork Coming From Asylum

Ren & Stimpy co-creator Jim Smith will publish a series of sketchbooks for Asylum Press, the publisher said today. "Princess Natasha" Coming to DVD

Anchor Bay Entertainment will release the AOL web series Princess Natasha to home video, World Screen reports. The twenty-part series will be released in installments featuring ten episodes each. AOL will also develop two exclusive bonus episodes for the release and two games for DVD and video.

KIKA Buys "Benjamin Bear"

Friedman, Beard: RIP

Ed Friedman, a long-time animator and director with Walt Disney, Ub Iwerks, UPA, and other studios, died on April 29, AWN reports. He was 92. Separately, AWN reports that Blue’s Clues animator Paul Beard died on April 22 in a Kansas City car crash. He was 27.
