Rapper David Banner will star in an animated cartoon for Adult Swim, MTV reports. Banner describes the series as being “about an older white family in Mississippi whose mind frame is still caught in the 1800s. Then along comes me, and then, wow!”

Cartoon Network Donates Studio to Charity

Cartoon Network has donated a state-of-the-art animation studio to the UK’s Youth Culture Television (YCTV) educational charity, c21 Media reports. Cartoon Network will also use its contacts to get animation insiders to offer masterclasses to YCTV students.

GMTV Gets "Winx Club"

The UK’s GMTV will bring Winx Club to British screens in early 2006, and Contender Entertainment Group will put the series on home video, World Screen reports. The series currently airs in Britain on Nickelodeon UK.
