Vincent Benenati was born
and currently resides on Long Island in New York. The
eldest of six children, heenjoys writing, drawing and
helping out with Toon Zone. Vincent is creator of "TLD:
The Last Defenders," a project he has been working
on for well over five years. His goal is to eventually
have his works published, whether it is a book, movie
or television series. Vincent discovered Brian Cruz's
WB Cartoons Page back in 1997 and began contributing
news via email. The web page later merged to form Toon
Zone.
While contributing news to Toon Zone, he launched
the now defunct Nick Weekly web page, which centered
on news about cable network, Nickelodeon. The site
gained popularity after Vincent was able to interview
Craig Bartlett, creator of "Hey Arnold!"
While Nick Weekly's popularity was at its peak, he
took over the popular Unofficial WB Network web site
and renamed it, Faces of the WB. However, having to
deal with the pressures of school, he was no longer
able to update the sites and as a result, they were
closed. After continuing to provide Toon Zone News
with news and having formed a friendship with two
Toon Zone founders, Brian Cruz and Eileen Delgadillo,
Vincent joined Toon Zone officially in April 2001.
He is currently an active member of the Toon Zone
News Staff, as well as, a moderator on the Toon Zone
Forums.

Toonami |
William C. "Chris" Maune (also known as AFXanatos or Meteo) holds the positions of Toon Zone News Co-Editor and CNX Toonami Message Board Moderator. While he was born in 1980, Chris actually missed most of the 1980s and in an odd twist seems to watch more cartoons the more he ages. Having first been ensnared by the moving, colorful pictures put forth by Fox Kids and the The Disney Afternoon in the early 1990s, he now concentrates on the Toonami block while dabbling in other contemporary shows such as "The Simpsons," "Sheep in the Big City" and etc. while also discovering the classics he missed when he was young.
Outside of Toon Zone Chris is a Meteorologist currently attending law school. He also works in radio as a DJ for Q106.1 (The Hit Music Channel) and host of NewsTalk 1400 KFRU's Trading Post while producing other programming and providing severe weather coverage. In his spare time he can be found watching CNN, Gargoyles or Sports Night, proving himself master of the game "Six Degrees of Kevin Bacon" and playing Ultimate Frisbee.

Bird_Boy, aka Joseph D. , just sits around the house,
playing video games, chatting online and reading books about
archeology (which he wants to be an archeologist some day).
He collects Batman and Star Wars memorbilia, listens to
mainly rock/metal music and watching movies (his favorites
being "The Goonies", any Batman movies [aside from
the horrible Batman&Robin], and any Star Wars movie). He
also is a member of (shamless plug alert!) TheJawa.com. He
looks forward to talking to you on the boards and all that.
Oh yeah, he likes cheese!

The WBC- General
Animation Discussion |
The world's leading Freelance Procrastinator, Christopher
N. Denner, can be caught roaming around the Toon Zone
website as Co-Moderator of the WBC and sometimes News
Reporter.
An infrequent visitor of the old "Worlds Finest"
message board back in 1999/2000, he later officially
joined the Toon Zone community and staff in the early
days of 2002. His top priorities include: trying to
brainwash the masses, working the 3rd shift at a reputable
nationwide supermarket, destroying transfans, spreading
the word to get classic 80s/90s cartoons like "Real
Ghostbusters," "Mighty Max" and "C.O.P.S."
(AKA CyberCOPS) back on the air, and scouring the toonami
forums or posting an occasional news item.
A longtime fan of North American produced animation,
cartoons off all different varieties, such as "Teenage
Mutant Ninja Turtles," "Bobby's World"
and "Beast Wars: Transformers," have melded
his mind into a mixture of good and evil, as well as
having shaped his imagination and outlook on animation
over the years. Though, not the greatest fan of most
anime, he does have a soft spot for select series such
as "Medabots" and "Sailor Moon."
When he's not foolishly gobbling up old 8/16-bit videogames
off of eBay, buying Transformers, or complaining about
something to anyone who will listen, Chris often dreams
of someday bettering the universe by becoming an animation
writer... with the hopes of telling light-heared adventures
and stories of grandeur in the style that they were
once expressed in a time long ago... the 80s.

| Joker,
Inc. |
I'm
the owner and webmaster of the website Joker
Inc. I've been working with the World's Finest site
on the news page for a little over a year now.
I'm a huge Batman toys fan and a few months ago I got
back into the comics.
I've ran my own website for over 6 years now, what started
as a links page has grown into so much more over the
years, I've met a lot of great people by working on
my site and being a part of World's Finest along with
a few other Batman sites.
I live in Dearborn, Michigan in the US. I'm married
and have two young Batman fans, a little Joker and his
sidekick Harley Quinn!

Mad Hatter |

Cafe Toon Zone |

Drawing Board |
Don't worry, Hatter's the
"whimsically irrational, would you like a cup of
quirkiness with lemon?" kind of mad, not the "I'm
about to beat you about the head and shoulders with
an oar" kind. He's been hanging around Toon Zone
since roughly the Cretaceous era, despite repeated attempts
to make him go away. In order to keep him from smearing
TZ's servers with jam in order to make "microprocessor
crumpets," the staff has made him a mod of the
fan art board, so his mind can be absorbed with thoughts
of them purty pictures. He's also a reporter for the
news page, which generally consists of him digging up
a wonderful nugget of information, then howling in frustration
when he finds that Dick Grayson or Vince has beat him
to it. He's also also a mod for the World's Finest family
of boards, since Dick Grayson couldn't argue with Hatter's
logic that he's the "World's Finest Scrabble player."
That qualifies him for superherodom, doesn't it? He's
also also also way too darn wordy, and realizes he needs
to make with the personal description already.
In his fleeting
moments of clarity, Hatter (occasionally known as Robert
Evatt) works as a reporter for a teeny local newspaper
you've probably never heard of in Conway, Arkansas.
(Home of the Wampus Cat, which is a blue, six-legged
bobcat. Really. Somehow it routinely fails to evoke
awe in its high school football opponents.) There he
writes fascinating pieces about the ongoing and heated
city council controversy over where people can park
their RVs. Hatter enjoys the outdoors, theater, travel,
good music, creativity in general, being a complete
romantic twit and flamingo croquet.
And no, he's
still not going to tell you why a raven is like a writing
desk.

| Nass |
Newsman, artist, and webmaster. My main interest all
my life has been DC Comics and art, both of which I
get to openly express doing news on the news page, doing
my online comic and games at www.nass.4mg.com,
and posting at the Justice League, Batman Beyond, and
Anigen Boards of the World's Finest. Ive always lived
in IL, about 45 minutes from Chicago, so I have great
opportunities with the Wizard Con in the summer (which
is right here in Chicago), Gotham City (a nearby comic
store with a life size Superman in phone booth display
which is growing in popularity) and of course, Metropolis,
IL- home of the annual Superman celebration. So its
no wonder I've grown up loving DC, starting at a young
age where I picked up Flash comics, watched my dad's
tapes of the Green Hornet, Batman (Adam West) and Superman
(George Reeves), and to come here and be able to finally
meet so many great people who share the magic of these
creations is fantastic. Besides that, I like to keep
up in all the news, comics and world events, etc, as
well as be a good friend. I'm also a big dork, just
check out the pic.
Of course there's a person with a life in the real world
behind Nass, but this is my personality. If anyone ever
needs an update on what's happening in something, or
just to talk about life, contact me on AIM, my nick
is Nass1999 or talk to me on the boards.

Hey
there, true believers. Basically, you need to know that
I'm currently attending college at beautiful La Salle
University in Philadelphia, I'm majoring in Communication
and Graphic Design, and that I can be a random, raving
lunatic. Leave me alone for awhile and I will say and
do random things that make Homer Simpson look like a genius.
I've been a fan of animation for all my life, be it
classic stuff like the Looney Tunes, 80s cartoons like
Transformers and Centurions(the best 80s series, I don't
care what anyone says), or newer stuff like Batman:
TAS, Simpsons, Freakazoid, what have you. I've also
found that I've developed a passion for entertainment
journalism; around the time of the big Saturday Morning
shakeup of 2002, I began posting news extensively on
the newsgroups. Somebody noticed, and well, now I'm
a reporter here at Toon Zone, and happy to be here.
I also hope to get a personal web page up someday.
By the way, that is my pic there, from my school ID,
believe it or not. So if you're on La Salle University's
campus sometime, feel free to come up to me and say
"Dude! You're that dude... from that website!"
If you do, I will give you a dollar. Seriously. I will.
