These folks are the ones who run the
many pages that Toon Zone hosts. Going above and beyond what a webpage
should be, these people have made their pages fit the high standards
that everyone has come to expect from Toon Zone.

A part of the online
Batman animated fan community since 1997, James Harvey
joined Toon Zone in 2001 and brought 'World's Finest'
and the popular discussion boards. If his name isn't
familiar, then you've likely seen him under his other
internet handle - 'Dick Grayson'. Not only does he
continue to update 'World's Finest' regularly, but
he also reports and conducts many interviews for 'Toon
Zone News'. Online, he has quite a fair amount to
keep him busy, but he is never too busy to help out
whenever possible.
Offline is another matter. James is currently enrolled
in the Journalism programme at a local University
with aspirations to one day become full fledged member
of the Journalism community.
He was drawn into the world of comic books when he
received a stack of Marvel Comics for Christmas. 'Web
of Spider-Man' #49 was the first (of soon to be many)
comic book he read. He quickly migrated into the world
of Batman with the publication of 'Batman: Year One'
and 'Batman: The Killing Joke'. Since then, he's been
a regular reader of them funny books. The premiere
of 'Batman: The Animated Series' rekindled his love
for the Batman mythos and animation.
When not busy with schoolwork, he enjoys spending
his time in many predictable ways. An avid music fan
that enjoys mainly punk and alternative music, he
is constantly expanding his tastes into other genres
of music. If it's good then he's probably heard it
(No, really!). He also passes time playing guitar
(Acoustic? Electric? He enjoys 'em both!) or just
spending time on his drum set. He also spends a lot
of whatever time remains in the movie theatre or in
front of that damn DVD Player. That's right kids,
he's also a movie junkie. And, he spends time reading
and writing, or just having a conversation with friends
(I know - when does he find time to sleep?).
So in short...he just does a lot of stuff. Good for
him.

The World's Finest |
Robin III is an insanely
busy person these days. He is so busy that he had to
point to a total stranger and say "Congrats, you
are my new personal assistant. I need you to write a
bio for me!" Robin III is studying Animation in
hopes to break into the industry and live a life full
of many luxuries, including champagne wishes and caviar
dreams.
In the five minutes that
he's not busy with his studies, he can be found hiking
through the Canadian Wilderness in search of his favorite
Mountie... Dudley Do-Right... he still hasn't found
him... but it's only a matter of time...

Toonami |
Name's Jeff Harris. Son
of Patricia. Grandson of Ethel and David. Aquarius.
A+ blood type. Doesn't photograph well. Overall happy
fella. Cartoonaholic.
Cartoons have always been
a part of my life. I was born on a cold Saturday morning,
January 21, 1978, so that should have been clue number
one of the destiny of this young Virginian cartoonist/writer.
I grew up on Looney Tunes
and 80s action cartoons, each of them warping their
influences in my fragile young mind. I wanted to create
cartoons. Heck, I wrote, drew, and recorded audio versions
of my stories (I got bored, sue me). Frustrated, after
realizing that animation just wasn't in the cards (at
least not at this time), I turned my attention towards
graphic design and illustration, which I found I was
pretty good at. Plus, comics become very interesting
to me as was the new school of WB animation (Animaniacs,
Batman, and Freakazoid among others) and the world of
anime. I singlehandedly brought Cartoon Network to my
hometown (not really, though I think it's a bit coincidental
that after I wrote a lengthy letter, they announced
that it was coming).
After a slap in the face
in the beginning of my journeys outside of high-school,
I decided to stay in my home state of Virginia and attend
a local university (ODU). And I became hooked on Cartoon
Network. In the fall of 1996, I found out courtesy of
this thing called the internet that Thundercats and
Voltron was coming to CN. By February '97, this new
block had a name . . . Toonami, and on March 17, 1997,
the block was born. When I came online full time, I
noticed that there weren't many Toonami sites online.
With very limited HTML skills, I created one of the
net's first Toonami-themed webpages, CN2 (later CNX):
Toonami Revolution Along the way, I made friends like
Mark, Jon, Tyler, Ryan, Stacy, Brady, and created an
Inner Circle of webmasters, and without them, I'm nothing.
Somehow, by the grace of her holiness, the queen of
the net realm, Harley Q, trusted reporter Vince, and
World's Finest webhead James found my site and gave
me shelter away from the city where my site was originally
housed, and the rest is history.
And now you know the rest
of the story.
Good day.

Jon likes a lot of things.
You are not one of them. Don't look at him, don't email
him, don't speak of his name. Feel the pain of defeat
and listen to the color of your dreams. Ok whatever,
I was kidding. Jon has been working on cartoon based
websites since 1997 and has unofficially recognized
by Cartoon Network, E! Entertainment Television, and
local news (no joke) for his mad web skillz. He currently
works on CCF: The Fansite along with his other non-ToonZone
site, Moltar's Hub: The Toonami Chat. Jon is spontaneous
and insane. People that want to visit him must sign
a disclaimer incase he bites and/or licks you. He likes
long walks on the beach......in the middle of a thunderstorm.
That's it. Narf. Zort.

Matt
Wilson
Animated Diversions
|
Matt Wilson is no stranger
to Toon Zone. Well, actually, yes he is, because he
is new to the staff. But in his lifetime, Matt has only
watched three seconds of the channel Lifetime. And if
that isn't a feat worthy of inclusion, then what is?
Matt is an animator, a lover, and a procrastinator (which
often makes him a lousy lover and animator), who is
hard at work on a pilot for an animated television series,
"High Score."
He has also done various
fan-projects, including animating a music video parody
of Weapon of Choice starring Professor Utonium, and
being the animation supervisor for Omniweapon's Powerpuff
Girls Celebrity Jeopardy 3. In his spare time, Matt
is either watching cartoons, playing video games, or
traveling around in space with his various catgirl lovers.
A 9 year old stick in the body of an adult, Matt Wilson
is a worthy addition to the reporting staff here at
Toon Zone, and a worthy foe in Worms 2.
You can visit his web portfolio
(which will open soon) at http://lemon.keenspace.com/portfolio/.

Tim "TWO-FACE"
Leighton is, fittingly, a 22 year old Canadian (from
Vancouver) currently going for his B.A. in English Literature
with a big interest in Film and Creative Writing. Oh
yeah, he's also a self-proclaimed die-hard Bat-fan.
Over the years he has been increasing his internet presence
as a Bat-fanatic, first starting with his personal website,
"Two-Face's Tower of Tranquility and Terror",
which is now a Toon Zone affiliate.
Tim is most likely best
known as editor and commander-in-chief of "Batman:
The Animated Newsletter", which he and co-editor
Dick Grayson have been diligently working on since July
1998. This month, September 2001, marked the 100th issue.
Toon Zone currently holds archives for all issues. (Thanks,
Harl!) And that's just the beginning; he looks forward
to a long-lasting part of the Toon Zone family

"Archie",
The WBArchivist has been enjoying Warner Bros. Cartoons
all of his life. Stumbling across the Warner Bros. Club
Board in 1998, he took upon himself the alias of "CornyDog".
In 2000 he was invited to bring his website, The Warner
Bros. Animation Archive, over to Toon Zone. He's honored
to be part of such a strong community of fans and mingle
with the famous faces around Toon Zone. Archie is a lifelong
musician and enjoys playing the piano and drums (or anything
else you don't blow into) and loves jazz. When he grows
up, he wants to be a former president. |

The WBC - General Animation Discussion |
Jonathan Gray loves cartoons! But PLEASE PLEASE call him WB or
"Dub" if you prefer! ^__^ At 22 years old,
Jonathan's ultimate goal is to become a 2D animator and/or
work in the medium of comic books. Who knows, maybe he'll
even have his own studio some day? One of his most favorite pastimes
in the world, is that I love to draw. Out of my three
favorite pastimes: Drawing, reading and writing - Drawing is
pretty much my life. Its a passion at this point, since its
rare to find me without my sketchbook.
Because of this passion, WB dedicates his time to drawing
and writing his own comic strips while in school "Chip
and Walter" and "Time Trouble", both of which
are currently hosted on Toon Zone. ^___^
He's a quiet guy by myself, UNTIL he get around friends and
completely loses his mind. An avid fan of animation, his
favorite studio is Warner Bros. (hence his nickname). He
likes quiet strolls, moonlight walks, and sweet candies. XD
And that's it for this bio. Please watch for chocolate
chickens, falling rubber chickens, and the occasional bouts
of mindless insanity. Exits are near the Seal of Approval on
your right.
**lobs a seal at your head** ^_______^ Peace!

| The WBC - General Animation Discussion |
Singin' Stray Cat (or SSC if
you like), a.k.a. Lily, is a graphic design major who enjoys
drawing cartoons more than anything else. Even classwork.
It's true, just ask her professors! (Or go see her website,
AcmeManiacs - hint, hint!) Her favorite animated cartoons
are Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, The Powerpuff Girls,
and Samurai Jack. And of course she likes newspaper comics,
especially BC, Over the Hedge, Garfield, Luann, and Curtis.
Someday SSC hopes to have a job in animation, or at least
illustration. As long as it involves drawing, she'll be
happy.
She also likes wasting time
on the computer, unleashing horrible puns on unsuspecting
people, making awesome T-shirts, sipping on hot chocolate
with marshmallows, and shamelessly singing along to songs on
the radio with the sunroof open on her car - except when
it's cold or rainy, naturally.
After lurking about the
Toon Zone boards occasionally for about a year, SSC
finally registered on August 23, 2001 and the rest is
history - well, for her anyway. Currently, she is happily
moderating the Fun and Games board and is on the prowl
for new and amusing stuff to put there.

Machina Animated Diversions |
Eccentric, stubborn, and egotistical. These are the personality
quirks (Thought he would see them as personality enhancements)
which won Machina the title award of ‘Bastard of Transfandom’
early in 2002. Machina, alias Dave Reynolds has earned
his reputation as being outspoken and rather blunt about
his feelings toward others. Presently working toward a
BFA in Visual Communications, he possesses a minor in
journalism and an old school Walter Cronkite approach
to the news. He has been a small press comic artist for
several years now, and is presently mastering the Toon
Zone hosted site of Thought Crime Inc. where he does the
webcomic Max Pneumatic. He has often taken rather unpopular
opinions and stances with topics and concepts and is one
of the few Beast Machines and American Turn A Gundam fans
out there. He’s also a fan of M.A.S.H. as well. Despises
arrogance, and finds ignorance insufferable. He's not
an overall nice guy to be around.
