Scooby-Doo was one of the three
original Cartoon Network comic series published DC Comics, along with
Cartoon Network Presents and The Flintstones & The Jetsons. It
is also the only one that is still being published. The series is based on
the original Scooby cartoon, Scooby-Doo, Where Are You?, and thus
does not include later additions to the Scooby family like Scrappy-Doo or
Scooby-Dum. Veteran artist Joe Staton has done the bulk of the artwork for
the series, while a variety of writers (including names such as Chuck
Dixon and Dan Abnett) have provided the stories.
