GOTHAM GIRLS

Catwoman. Poison Ivy. Harley Quinn. Detective Renée Montoya. Batgirl. They are the women of the popular WB Online webtoon, and now they’re bursting into the animated DC Universe in an action-packed 5-issue miniseries: GOTHAM GIRLS!

Written by Paul Storrie (JUSTICE LEAGUE ADVENTURES, Mutant X: Dangerous Discoveries), with art by Jennifer Graves (SUPERGIRL) & J. Bone (Spider-Man’s Tangled Web) and hot covers by Shane Glines, each issue gives a different Gotham Girl a turn at playing narrator.

Unable to resist a golden opportunity to fund her beloved lion preserve, Catwoman heists a vial of a mysterious formula for a shady company — only to discover she’s actually working for Poison Ivy and the mallet-wielding Harley Quinn. That event sets off an every-villain-for-herself chase across Gotham’s rooftops, attracting the attention of both Batgirl and Montoya who reluctantly team up to join the fray. Who will get the vial? What’s really in it? Will Catwoman ever get paid? Is Ivy out to double-cross everybody, even her old pal Harley? And how do you give a hero the slip when you’re both atop a speeding truck?

These answers and more are found in this fast-paced caper, featuring crackling art, fun-filled action and everybody’s favorite…Gotham Girls! Be sure to visit the girls at www.gothamgirls.com, and also look for the GOTHAM GIRLS posters coming from DC Direct!

This project is supported with house and trade ads, and a co-op ad slick.
