Summary:
The re-return of Hello Nurse, Agent of H.U.B.B.A.!
This time around, the lustrous lunatic Goldenhead has polluted the WB Lot with
Tiki heads which will explode in a matter of minutes, leaving the fate of the
A! cast in H.N.'s hands!
Description:
The nefarious Goldenhead, from his air fortress
above the WB Lot, drops several "Tiki Heads of Terror," which will
explode in minutes. After wrapping up the malevolent miscreant in Ace Bandages,
Hello Nurse heads down to save her WB costars. She cleverly deals with the Tiki
Heads that land near the Warners, Slappy, and the Hip Hippos. Meanwhile, Brain
plans to broadcast the sound of an ice cream truck around the world, so
everyone will follow him. He kidnaps Goldenhead to use his metal head as a
conductor, but the villain escapes, thanks to Pinky being hypnotized by his
shiny head. Just before he can blow up the "Big Kahuna" of the Tiki
Heads, he meets his match—Minerva Mink. She falls for him when she hears that
his head is solid gold, and is *ALMOST* willing to fight for him when H.N.
shows up. But a hunk named Mitch comes along, and when Goldenhead messes up
Mitch's hair, Minerva beats him up, and walks off with the man of her dreams,
leaving Shiny Boy to mourn his loss.
Cameos include the Mime, Plotz, Rita & Runt, the
Goodfeathers, Mindy & Buttons, and Katie Ka-Boom.
Pages (out of 32): 22 pp.
Quote of the Story:
HELLO NURSE: You know what'd be really cool?
YAKKO & WAKKO: Poi Slurpees!
Review:
True, H.N. is little more than a deus ex machina to
hold together the thin plot, which is designed purely to showcase the various
A! cast members. But that doesn't make it any less enjoyable. Brain's comment
about Goldenhead being "one of his archnemeses" is rather odd, since
as far as we know, Brain has no archnemeses (aside from Snowball). But it's
redeemed by a delightfully Freakazoid!-esque comment that Brain met his
archenemy "on the Internet." Loads of fun. Highlights include H.N. in
a sarong, some clever Dr. Seuss-style rhyming in the Slappy/Walter sequence, a
nice reworking of "We Want to Perch on Scorcese's Head" (from the TV
show's "West Side Pigeons"), and a near-catfight between Minerva Mink
and our virtuous vixen.
