Summary:
In a sequel to the greatly praised story from issue 23, H.N. once again dons superhero garb to fight the sinister forces of I.C.K., this time trying to defeat Femme Feline, who plans to turn the world into her own personal sandbox.

Description:
On a field trip to Ersatz National Park with Scratchansniff and the Warners, H.N. realizes that sinister forces are at work. She returns later to find Femme Feline (and her pet geek Fluffy) with a bunch of giant aerosol cans. H.N. is buried in kitty litter, and H.U.B.B.A. sends Scratchy a temp Nurse to sub for the MIA Hello Nurse, so he won't know anything is up. While the temp, Konichi-wa Nurse, fights ninjas in Scratchy's waiting room, H.N. is saved by a mysterious benefactor, who trains her to fight Femme Feline and gives her a new, high-tech suit. She then busts in on Femme Feline and defeats a plethora of ninja, before learning the villain's nefarious plot—to use a giant aerosol can to deplete the ozone, leaving the world an arid desert—a giant litterbox. Only Nurse Hapless can save them now: as she flies overhead H.N. contacts her, and she blows up the aerosol can before it can release its sinister substances. At the end, we learn that Femme Feline was working without I.C.K.'s backing. Nurse Doom, it seems, was H.N.'s mysterious benefactor, and she arrives to take Feline away for punishment.

Pages (out of 32): 24 pp.

Quote of the Story:
[The ninjas fight Konichi-wa Nurse.]

NINJA: M-master! She is too strong! We must retreat!

HEAD NINJA: Coward! Would you dishonor the name of the Shadow-Bunny Ninja!?

NINJA: …Is this a trick question?

Review:
A rarity indeed—a sequel even better than the first! The first full-length A! comic turns out to be one of the biggest gems of the series. Those who have already read the first story will probably enjoy this more, as there are some recurring elements (Nurse Hapless, the Goldenhead opening, the villains whose hideout Doom was gonna buy in the first story). This one tends to focus more on the superhero angle of things, parodying many established comic book formulas, and still staying true to the A! spirit of comedy. Lots of funny/zany dialogue as well. Batic shows off the true extent of his abilities, combining cartoony A!-style art with more realistic superhero comic book-style art. In Goldenhead's opening rally, not only are Alfred E. Neuman & Grumpy again present, but look for Homer Simpson, Frankenstein, Obi-Wan Kenobi, and others. Highly recommended.
