A spooky guy named "Pointy" tries to eat the Warners for breakfast.

Yakko, "the Crepe Keeper," introduces this story. Yakko has coupons for a local pancake house. But once they get there, they soon realize that Pointy, the pincushion-headed host, plans to eat *THEM*. He releases various breakfast-themed monstrosities on them until Torgon, the Living Blob of Banana-Nut Pancake Batter Thing turns on him and eats him. The sibs then go for sushi.

Pages (out of 32): 6 pp.

Quote of the Story:
YAKKO: This may be a silly question, but just why does he want to eat us?

DOT: Fad diet?

WAKKO: 'Cause we taste sorta like chicken?

YAKKO: How would you kn--never mind.

Review:
Carolan & Moore at their most bizarre. How could any story with "sentient dairy creamer packets" be anything less than hilarious?

Description:
The charming tale of how Randy Beaman's friend ate some bubble gum and ended up having his head devoured from the inside by spiders…

Pages (out of 32): 1 p.

Review:
Pretty much the same as the bits of the TV series. It's amazing, the stuff that happens to that Randy Beaman kid…

Title: "A Paw Worth Fighting for!"

Writers: Sean Carolan & Jennifer Moore
Penciller:
Leonardo Batic
Inker:
Scott McRae
Letterer:
Lorina Mapa
Colorist:
Demetrius Bassoukos

Summary:
Walter tries to use a monkey's paw to eliminate Slappy.

Description:
Dot, "the Strudle Siren," introduces this horrific tale. The prize in Skippy's "Zombie Puffs" cereal is a monkey's paw, on which one can wish, but it brings grave misfortune to the owner. They throw it out, but Walter comes across it, and tries various wishes to kill Slappy, eventually ending with him being sent to a desert isle, stuck there with the not-too-happy original owner of the paw…

Pages (out of 32): 6 pp.

Quote of the Story:
[After Walter is sucked into a huge crevice, which then closes up.]

SKIPPY: Golly, Aunt Slappy, where did Walter go?

SLAPPY: I'd like to think of it as Mr. Toad's Wild Ride--but with lots more pain involved.

Review:
Another wonderfully funny, delightfully odd comic. Bassoukos' mood coloring makes Batic's excellent art all the spookier. The "bunion" bit is a highlight.

Title: "Good Things Come in Buckets"

Writers: Sean Carolan & Jennifer Moore
Penciller:
Leonardo Batic
Inker:
Khato
Letterer:
Lorina Mapa
Colorist:
Demetrius Bassoukos

Description:
At a craft fair and swap meet, all the key members of the A! cast get one look at the Warners' barf collection, and generously contribute.

Pages (out of 32): 2 pp.

Review:
One of the most disgusting comics I have ever read (and that isn't even a compliment!). Still, despite the gross factor, some of Carolan & Moore's typical humor makes this story a lot more readable than it would be. Check out the inventive sound effects the characters give as they hurl, as well as what's in the throw-up of each. Not for those with weaker stomachs.

Rating: ½

Summary:
A spooky doll terrorizes Mindy & Buttons.

Description:
Wakko, "the Waffle Warlock," introduces the conclusion to our trilogy of comics. Lady gives Mindy a new doll and orders Buttons not to use the power tools, and then leaves. Mindy tickles the doll, which angers it, and it decides to get revenge. Buttons ends up chopping the thing up with a chainsaw, which leads to the Lady putting him in a straightjacket upon her return…

Pages (out of 32): 6 pp.

Quote of the Story:
LADY: Bad dog! Bad psychotic dog!

Review:
Mindy & Buttons haters and lovers alike will enjoy this story. It spoofs the typical M&B formula ("no power tools"…hee hee…) and has lots of great lines and sight gags. Lots of funny, silly stuff.

A good ending for the ax murderer running gag, as well as a nice way to round out this great issue. The whole thing is highly recommended.
